  • Hey man, I'm thinking about getting a Peavey Winsor. How are the stock stuff on it? Does it get a good bedroom level tone? How does it compare to other Peavey all tube combos?

lol sry for all of the questions

  • @Super9069

    Sorry for the late reply.

The Windsor Studio is a great allround amp, it will do anyhting good.

For metal i reccomend you having a distortion pedal infront of the amp.

I haven´t compared it to other Peavey Combos, sorry.

For bedroom level just use the built in power attenuator :) otherwise it´s very loud :D

  • @Super9069 Windsor Studio is one of the best Blues tube amps on the market. It is, however, designed for the"studio". XLR out on back panel for recording straight into your mixer is fantastic. If you want to play this kind of dark german metal crap, a peavey vyper, or a 5150 would be much, much better.

  • @uoft93

ManOwaR is from New York USA ;)

  • I won't mark you as a fail, but I kind of wonder why people are obsessed with posting their mediocre playing.

  • Well i don´t have the gear to geat Heavy Metal distortion and besides i did this for fun after i´ve talked to some folks about ManOwaR so it was more of a funny thing. I used to be a real metal head by the end of the 1990s and i saw ManOwaR live 1999 in Stockholm Sweden, that´s also when i learnt most of the songs:)

Well sometimes mediocre sucks but i also think it´s fun to hear other people play:)
