sicuramente sarà un bel suv ma come possono immaginare alla dacia che le persone spendano 18000 euro senza far provare il loro prodotto? io ero molto convinto nel comprarla ma sono stato preso in giro da concessionaria e casa volevo fare un test drive ma dal concessionario mi è stato dettop che non ci sono auto test della duster, ho chiamato la casa che mi ha detto il contrario a chi devo credere??'????

Pentru nemultumiti sau poate necunoscatori, exista varianta 4x4 cu 110 CP. Nu ii inteleg pe dobitocii care isi critica singurul si cel mai bun si mai cunoscut produs romanesc de pana acum, in loc sa fie mandrii cu asta!

our dacia diesel engine 1.5dci 85hp broke at only 117.000km (engine block did burst). Out of guaranty, car has only 2 years... so dacia low cost? perhaps more dacia low quality!!!

Parerea mea e ca ar trebuii sa fim mandri ca un nume romanesc este vandut in strainate cu un oarecare succes iar locuitorii din tari mai civilizate si mai bogata decat a noastra, nu simt nevoia sa "se sparga in figuri" cum zice romanul si daca considera ca motor de 1.5-1.6 le ajunge, isi vor cumpara Duster si cand ies din criza, au o alta mentalitate,nu ca la noi unde oamenii prefera sa cumpere un BMW,AUDI,etc decat o dacia noua, care oricum ii va tine mai mult decat cele luate SH cu >100.000km

guys i dont know how about you, but i think this car really is nice, i mean that shape and face could compete with cars like navara, rav4, grand vitara.. and the features (2WD, 4WD auto, 4WD lock)... for that price, this would be the SUV I'd buy.

After going through all the trouble to make such a pretty exterior, it's too bad they screwed up the interior so badly... inside it has the quality and aesthetics of a sandero... if it looked a bit better (let's say it was styled like a hyundai Tuscon) I think I'd buy one too!

Anyway, forget about plastics, it will have a lockable center differential. Tucson doesn't even dream about such thing:-))

It hasn't reached representations here yet,I've just been dissapointed by the first pics I saw online.Although lockable center differential is important,I think most potential buyers aren't off-road enthusiasts,but simply enjoy the high ride,climbing on pavements & occasionally driving on a road with a bit of snow or gravel.If I'd like a cheap tool,I'd buy a NIVA or a Jimny, but you see I enjoy my luxuries (I mean,how much would they raise the cost?1000-2000€?) It'd still be affordable :-))

I think the weakest point of this car (apart from the odd-looking front grille) are the engines. 1.5 and 1.6 engines for a SUV that isn't quite small will be sure to discourage a lot of would-be buyers. But this is probably Renault policy, any larger an more potent unit and the Duster will start cannibalize other Renault-Nissan models such as Qashqai or X-Trail (whose 4x4 traction system it shares).

Yes, I think you're right about that,a nice example is the VW group where they try to distribute & differentiate the engine's horsepowers on commercially equivalent models. I wonder if the 1.2lt turbo which is on the clio would do the trick (kind of like the 1.2lt Skoda Yeti) in the Duster's case... A downsized supercharged would match the economic character of the vehicle (low consumption, import-circulation & enviromental taxes, insurance fees) :))

You are absolutelly right !

Rumour is that Nissan opposed with all means that Duster receives the 150 BHP diesel, automatic gearbox and premium leather/better plastics interrior as per initial program.

They also opposed to ESP but that stayed on.

It is possible though that later modaels to have more powerful engines. On the other hand, Duster is about 4-500 kg lighter that average compact (similar) SUVs

by making the interior more nice looking or of better quality it would mean they would have to raise the price. besides, the people who buy dacias aren't ones to care about the looks, and in the poor countries or the countries in development like romania, there are a lot of them. look at the logan, it's not selling so well for its looks, you know.

Well,the Logan is not selling at all in my country(Greece), you can see more Cayennes than Logans on the street, NOT because the average Greek is rich, but because with 10,000€(Logan Laureate) he buys Hyundai Accent. About the Duster I'd definately pay 2,000€ more for a descent interior & a couple of extra airbags, after all I'm buying a car not a bicycle (& that's how everyone I know thinks). Another solution: make two versions (ex. Fiat Panda 4x4, Fiat Panda SUV) & let me choose

da dar dau fost afectate de criza. crezi ca luau aia logan daca nu erau si ei stramtorati cu banii? si nu ma refer numai la pretul de cumparare. ma refer si la costuri de intretinere, asigurari sau ce taxe mai trebuie ei sa plateasca. chiar si cei de la dacia au spus ca loganul n-a fost facut pentru nemti sau francezi, dar cu criza asta masina a prins popularitate si acolo.

Boocho88 ,nu ,asta de serie nu e din fibra de carbon ,era ala de competitie,un duster albastru condus de Alain Prost cu motorizare v6 24v 350 de cai putere la 950 de kg.rupe asfaltul bag pula,e fi capabil de 300 km/h

fa`tzi un control la ORL=)))...doar versiunea pt raliu e cum zici tu...poate nici aia nu e din fibra de carbon:-j....oricum masina din video asta nu e nici pe aproape de dusteru real:-j.....era prea fain sa scoata un SUV in adevaratu sens al cuvantului....dusteru ala de raliu seamana mai mult cu un sandero mai patratzos:|....deci nici cal nici magar......poate ca dacia ar face masini mai faine daca ar avea buget mai mare...cinestie:-j
