  • 4 wives didnt come back and the husbands found no trace

  • nice movie..saw this movie in webmovietube for completely free

  • amazing movie..cant express my feelings..just watched this movie in webmovietube

  • what's the song name? it's like more than 4 .

  • @philipcloud123 Lovely Day and Break Through- both songs are by Michelle Tumes.

  • LOVE IT! Great movie!

  • i just realized the guy is mr turner from boy meets world. First time i've ever seen him in a movie

  • very nice movie keeping your faith

  • nice movie, can relate to it...............like even the sountrack BREAKTHROUGH by Michelle Tumes.

  • For anyone who is a general hospital fan, the young man in this trailer is going to play morgan corinthos this month.

  • just watch the full movie so that you can understand maybe there are some circumstances.

  • This is the most offensive story I've ever seen. The only stand-up person in the film is supposed to be unworthy? Give me a break.

  • didn't watch the movie only the trailer but I am confused to this ... if she left and became and Christian why didn't she do the Godly thing and go find her son??? I do not think God would want you to abandon your husband or son for that matter!

  • Hey, i saw this movie too! When the husband sez that he wants his wife back, but hes told he cant cause she's a Christian. The pastor assumes that they are divorced! And according to scripture, he cant marry her again!

Later, it is revealed that he never signed the divorce papers, therefore they are Still married, which changes everything!

So, give the movie a break! At least there is No Sex, Violence, Profanity etc! AND, Fireproof was just as "Preachy"as this movie!!

  • I didn't like this movie. Fireproof is way better. This was to preachy and too nerdy in nature!

  • Coolness got to check the movie out

  • For example, at aprox. 1:40 in the trailer where the husband is expressing interest in getting back together with his wife, and disbelief that someone said that she couldn't because she is a Christian. The non-Christian husband there is solidly in the right. The unequally yoked passage clearly does not apply to already married people (I Cor 7:13-16 passages). That is one example of an apparent patent distortion in the movie.

  • I couldn't understand this statement from the pastor either because they never divorced, I don't think? But the pastor also said the wife must submit to any husband, I don't know, how can you submit to a man who watches porn, who cheats, who beats you and so on? Submission is order and if the husband submits to God, the wife will submit to him. Sarah called Abraham Lord, not because he was simply a man, but because he followed the directions of the Lord, therefore trust was involved. :)

  • @chicdeboutique Mat 19:7-10 says that except for sexual immorality you are not allowed to divorse. But watching porn or cheating is sexual immorality so Jesus allows it for the sake of victim. So in that case the wife should not submit to a man who watches porn. It's not only grounds for divorse but also grounds for forgiveness. And that's what the movie is about. However it seriously hurts relationships and it takes years a to recover. It also depends on how bad the situation is of course.

  • @chicdeboutique I'd also like to say that the movie points out the dangers of Jeff and Heather getting back together again. It was meant to say that the easiest road doesn't have the best ending. Heather could have gone to Chicago, but in stead she trusts the Lord that she won't get back into drugs, alcohol again and that Jeff won't be a workoholic anymore. It's a tough road to follow Jesus.

  • @jmhead01 at THAT point the pastor didn't know that they were still married. In the same scene Jeff asks the pastor 'What if we are still married?' and the pastor says 'It's a whole different story, because God hates divorse'.

  • In addition it ignores scripture such as I Cor. 7:13 ("And the woman which has an husband that believes not, and if he be pleased to dwell with her, let her not leave him."), which I see no strain in applying retroactively.

And yes the ending does not conflict with these things, but words of the spiritual leaders, and tone of the film/storyline do, in even bringing them up as legitimate.

  • I agree with everything you stated. My husband rented the movie and he fell asleep but as I continued to watch I was so angry with the things the pastor and the friend said! Things like, the man in the home, or "a wife must submit to a man who doesn't believe." OK I have a problem with that pastor because submission is order and it has nothing to do with a husband being the man of the house. A husband must submit to God in order for a wife to submit to him, no woman will submit to those who dont

  • This appears to distort and ignore the very foundational basis that it clams to promote, namely, biblical.

  • @jmhead01 It ignores the fact that a marriage is not defined by an action of the state, or even of the church. It is an individual thing, where and individual leaves and cleaves to another (Gen 2:24, Mat 17:5 [quote]), becoming one, which exists until a deliberate action to break that bond.

The civil papers and traditions are merely structural, order aiding constructs.

  • I agree and for example, Esther, was the wife a king who wasn't a believer in the one true GOD, yet they married, therefore, I don't know where this comes from but there's so many examples of marriages that worked because it was God's plan.

  • I think Ester's situation was a bit more complicated - might have been a special circumstance. There are more then a few things going on there. The Biblical New Testament principle for Christians is not to be unequally yoked. In the movie she became a Christian after the fact, so that issue never enters into the picture.

  • @chicdeboutique A bit late but the bible does warn you of the dangers of a special relation. Not only marriage but something like starting a company with a non-Christian. The chance is high that you two will have to sort out a lot of differences, but it isn't impossible. It's just that that it happen a lot more often that the non-believer stays a non-believer in marriage. It isn't against God, but it's dangerous that's what this movie wants to tell.
