  • Am I the only one who prefers the "Moon Over the Castle" versions because of the guitar isntead of synth? Also, did anyone notice the album title, "Blue in Red" matches the Gran Turismo logo colors?

  • i like rockverion the most.

    this sounds like nintendo:D

but backround pichture remind me some good time in test course:P

  • Atleast 6 versions for GT: GT, GT2, GT4 Japan, GT4 Europe, GT4 America (only intro for these) and GT5p. Then there's all other versions of Knight's song/Moon over the castle Masahiro Andoh made, versions by Polyphony Digital, independant covers. It depends on your defenition.

  • the best music

  • Believe it or not, Masahiro Andoh is in this band. He's been the guitarist since 1978. This song came out in 1997, the same year as the first Gran Turismo. Interesting find!

  • "Knight's Song" is based on "Moon over the Castle", a song that is known as the theme music of "Gran Turismo".

  • And yes, Mr. Masahiro Andoh wrote BOTH songs.

  • There have been different versions...

The Original Version (Moon over the Castle, released on M. Andoh's Solo album, "Andy's") has the guitar playing the melody in A minor. This version was used in the Original "Gran Turismo".

T-Square's Version (from "Blue in Red", 1997), was renamed "Knight's Song", and has the EWIst (Masato Honda) playing the melody in the higher key of B Minor.

  • The T-Square Plus version (from Truth 21c) is like the Original 1996 Version, except the EWIst (Takeshi Itoh) plays the Chorus Line and there's a longer intro.
