I make smoothies every night with mine and it does a great job. You need fitness with the amounts and sizes of the ingredients you use. For anything involving ice, you need to put the ice right at the top near the blade and only use maybe 5 or 6 cubes. You are making a drinkable smoothy not a snowcone.

Here is a tip for you girls. More liquid and frozen fruit, less ice since the berries are already frozen and put the ice on TOP since that's technically the bottom where the blade is. It takes some manipulation on your part for it to work. It doesn't do the magic by itself. The tool is only as good as the operator using it.

You need a lot more liquid than that to make any kind of blended drink...the liquid level should be JUST UNDER the top of the solids and it'll mix up nicely...even in a magic bullet :) --(magic bullet owner)

It wouldnt matter if it was fresh fruit, the bullet sucks, it does not work NEARLY as well as it does on TV even if make the exact same thing they did, plus mine broke a few days after i bought it.  and the juicer attachment is a joke. just stick with a real food processor or blender

LOL THANK YOU, you just saved me $60. I guess its not much better than a normal blender. Yeah I saw the add, the trick is that they use fridge made ice, so its already thinner, I will be using ice cubes like the ones you used much harder to crush. I guess I will keep looking for a cheap blendtec.

I made the same mistake of making a sorbet instead of a smoothie, its because you used frozen fruit, it needs to be fresh fruit, or have some fresh fruit in it.
