Good kill, but might I make a suggestion? I have found in my own silent hunter experiences to hit the ship at least once with a torpedo before I decide to make a surface attack. In the end though it's you boat n whatnot, but you really should avoid spending so much time with your kills as close as you are to enemy ports. Easy to get away with it so early in the war, but take caution in the future.

BTW the close in action IS a lot of flare to your LP so thanks.

Remember, with the Deck Gun you can click on the little view icon in the top left corner, next to the shell types, and get the scope view. Click it again to zoom the scope in. You'll be locked to waterline, but can mouse wheel to change the middle ladder of ranges. If you're at 1000m just scroll down till you see the 10 in the middle of the crosshair. Ask your Watch Officer for Nearest Visual Target to get range. Good to see you back. :)
