I was born in the 90's but born and raised with punk music, and this was allways one of my favourites when I was a kid. I'm really happy to hear it again. :)
MAN, remember listening to these guys in my dad,s car back when i was 6 or 7, now i just uncovered his punk colloction, and well what can i say, WTF HAVE I BEEN LISTENING TO FOR 8 YEARS?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Die toten hosen did a pretty sweet cover of this. Altho their cover is only great cuz they've changed nothin about it, well, they hardly need to, do they??? Fuckin love this song
thanks, i loved this all those years ago!! nice to hear it again, only other copy i hve is double compilation tape 'burning ambitions, history of punk'
@mrtommyarthur Actually, kind of gets that you think how many chords actually contributes to the "quality" of a song. Which is the same as saying you've got your head up your arse.
@mrtommyarthur last thing -- since you like the Smiths, you should know that they have tons of songs with 4 and 5 chords only... Your favorite complex ballad Please Please Please only has 7 or 8 chords...
Love it!!! you know the stereo type is that dads love crap songs well it was totally wrong in this case he actually introduced me to this amazing song..... it brings back so many memories
That's oldschool punk rock. Now if you wanna check some like this out, check sex pistols, the exploited (hardcore), ramones, the adicts. Search for punk rock bands list in wikipedia.
this is such a unique concept for a song. who doesn't get tired of the lovesong format? but is that the adverts performing it,? it sounds way different from on the album I have.
First class Video work for a superb song. Any chance of losing the 30 odd seconds of dark silence at the end? I would really like to include this version in my illustious playlist.
Truly, thank you for the "behind of the song". Quite interesting story.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
The judge stands up as you offer no defence, and says 'you are sentenced to destroy all your punk 1 chord shite era records'.
You reply 'yes the 70's and 80's were an embarassment to music and society and I contributed to it'
'I am guilty so please destroy these shite records and I would like to donate my ears and organs to science'
Kind of gets where this is at doesn't it?

Well how about instead of Fred Wests eyes, you opt for Harold Shipmans Spleen or something like that??
At least it has a certain alliterative ring to it.....

I wonder who's the actual person who received his corneas, I know it's some one in Utah. The corneas went to two separate people.
