my english teacher showed me this. It's really powerful stuff. I myself am an aspiring artist in the form of a musician so this interview really spoke to me. Have watched it numerous times in class and came to youtube hoping I could find it again. I'm glad I did because this is a really incredible video.
amazing work....graphic description of a disintegrating life....reminded me of what a very bad trip on Acid (LSD) could be like....or a schizophrenic psychotic episode..very moving...it brought tears to my eyes in sympathy...
I just caught the ass end of this animation on TV and then seen its entirety here. Makes me wonder why I don't watch more original animation like this.
@UntitledParenthesis Yep. Experimental means uncertain success, thus uncertain profits, which is why very few studios will go out of their way to do anything "original" nowadays. Such a shame.
But hey, maybe I'm just being overly pessimistic! =P
I have spent the past hour wracking my brains about this wonderful animation that I saw a couple of years ago. I'm so glad that I finally got to find it again.
Love this, but when I first saw it earlier today, it was in black and white, I assumed it was supposed to be, guess it was a dodgy projector. Think I preffered it in b&w!
can someone explain to me what happened to his wife? thx!

So many Canadian animated films end with the "camera" floating up into the sky.

There is really no other two artists closer to my heat, closer to my very soul, then Chris Landren and Ryan Larkin.
