This isn't cheap, this is how you succeed in demon's/dark souls. You find a boss's weakness or something that works against them, and you exploit it to the fullest. Nice work

guys how the fuck am i even supposed to use magic? i mean what are the controls? i have a kris blade so how do i use my soul arrow magic?

@indianbadass4568 You have to equip a catalyst (magic wand). Whichever hand it's equipped in, use the corresponding trigger to cast - left hand, L1 or right hand, R1.

@indianbadass4568 I used soul ray and my crescent falchion on him - he's weak to magic attacks. And I wore a ring of magical sharpness.

I also used the warding spell, but later learned it's ineffective against fire...

I don't remember what lvl I was, but by the time I'd gotten to flamelurker I'd boosted my stats and upgraded my weapons by doing a lot of soul and stone farming.  The DS wiki site gives more and probably better advice than I can on where to farm.

Flamelurker's scary, but you've got a good magical sword, the kris blade.

No ones judging you, just depends on your play style, I personally rode out the fire with my steel shield , Hacked & Slashed with my Battle axe, switching between two-hander & Sword And Board When need be. All in all I thought Tower knight was Harder, first few tries are annoying, but it's all about anticipating their next move & keeping your Stamina topped off inbetween blocks, patience is the key... and a healthy stock of herbs. lol. Happy Dungeon-Delving.

@superrueben yup. I actually had some trouble with Phalax the first time I got this game. He's so easy because he has a very simple order of attacks, you know exactly what he's gonna do and when he's gonna do it.

this is reallly noobish, there is an easy way for melee. Get up close by dodging his attacks and then block his scissor attack and attack him when he goes on his stomach
