About 2 weeks later I stopped in a music store I usually don't go to and they had some Orange amps. I played the 30 Watt Combo and both of the heads. I really liked them. Except for the price!!

Hes obviously playing stereo through the rockerverb and thunderverb and pedals dont are not overkill just about any good guitar player always keeps like .02 second delay on to to get tthat sustain to round out the end of the tone instead of cuting it off... easier to get your notes harmonized with out going up a key.
obviously not-what about wah and phaser? and to get a good sound out of a crappy amp you'd have to spend so much on effects that you might as well just get a decent amp

As a hard core Orange fan and long time user, i can personally tell you that Orange makes the best amps in the world. Ive played on Marshalls, Vox's, Line 6's, Fenders, and Peaveys and Orange is and will always be my favorite.
Orange has amazing 4X12 cabs, take any amp head and push an orange cab, most likely you will be blown away. I run a vintage marshall head through one, it's another planet compared to stock marshall cabs. Watch your back though, they weigh in around a metric ton, due to multi ply high quality construction.
Does anyone know what effects pedal he's using? I never thought a tone like that could come out of a les paul. I have a orange rockerverb 30 combo and a gibson les paul standard... i just need whatever pedal he has to get that tone!!!! does anyone know?
Lol.. are you even listening to this? A LP and orange amp doesn't magically give you satriani tone. It's his pedal that gave him the tone. Anyone can play any satriani songs note for note, but with a blues tone, it would sound bad. Pedals help a lot.

I've got a Fender FM 212R 100W. It's nice for metql if you use the right pedals I guess. But I've been doing some research and it seems he use an Orange rockerverb with Stone sour so I'm gonna go for that.

yea seriously guys.lol what is gonna get your attention at a place surrounded by other amps. a small half stack which is all you would really need or a massive wall of cabs. seriously if i had to pick i would go for the wall of cabs just to look at it.
Use a pedal with it. Like Jeckyll and Hyde from Visual Sound,or Distortion eq from Johnson for metal. There is no hype with the tiny Terror-it's all true :-). Chec out my videos,and Rob Chappers-some one on here has a tiny terror doing killswitch fiffs. Good luck!!
Since most of the Orange amps have a footswitch, having 5 heads on stage could equal 5 footswitches. Most of the pedals on the floor are likely them, they're all white. The others, I would imagine he'd need to demo the effects loops and use delay and mod pedals to do that. Reverb is built into most of the Orange amps, so the Reverb pedal is unlikely.
I think all but two of those heads are just sitting there for looks. As with the cabs. If Orange distortion sounds that digital,, ouch.. Although when I heard one live, it didn't sound good at all.. The cleans were fantastic though..
He has Rocker30, Rockerverb, Thunderverb in the stack, Tiny Terror and 1x cab too. Off to the right, must be the AD amps. Probaby for demo. Too many 4x cabs though, doesn't computer w/amp outputs avail on 4 heads.
Orange dist doesn't sound digital, anything but. This is a camera mic, so it's similar to most YouTube guitar recordings. I'll do a distortion video with mine.
He's plugged into a Thunderverb. (200W Class A/B).
Watching him hit the channel switch, clean/dirty. Can't see his cable going into any of the heads... so what is it? Probably a Rockerverb/Thunderverb. I only hear Delay. The amps have effects loop and spring verb, he IS demonstrating everything the amp does, Clean/Dirty/Reverb/Loop very well.
I like the back wall, the inset head houses... must be Orange Custom. Looks like he has most all of the amps there, maybe that 2x on the floor is an AD30TC.
Alot of the Orange amps don't have Reverb, much less anything else. Everybody uses stomp boxes, I use rack effects, and can assure that most/some of the Orange flavour is passed through to the speakers. My AD30 sounds just like that.

Orange dist doesn't sound digital, anything but. This is a camera mic, so it's similar to most YouTube guitar recordings. I'll do a distortion video with mine.
He's plugged into a Thunderverb. (200W Class A/B).

Watching him hit the channel switch, clean/dirty. Can't see his cable going into any of the heads... so what is it? Probably a Rockerverb/Thunderverb. I only hear Delay. The amps have effects loop and spring verb, he IS demonstrating everything the amp does, Clean/Dirty/Reverb/Loop very well.

I like the back wall, the inset head houses... must be Orange Custom. Looks like he has most all of the amps there, maybe that 2x on the floor is an AD30TC.
Alot of the Orange amps don't have Reverb, much less anything else. Everybody uses stomp boxes, I use rack effects, and can assure that most/some of the Orange flavour is passed through to the speakers. My AD30 sounds just like that.
Yeah, bright sounding LP for sure.
