  • Greatest move i have ever seen.

  • Anybody can do that. It takes practice. These guys practice. They work hard. If you not into practicing no you cant do it, but if you are self-motivated and you practice at least one hour every single day, you can do it. i can only do it when somebody takes me to the hoop and jams it in my face. Now i'm lookin for some type of revenge. Since I can't dunk, this is my way of payin' back..lol

  • Travel...his feet didn't land at the same time for his hopstep

  • greatest move of the decade!

  • again, its not a 3 step illegal move, its a 3 step legal move. High school college or pro. Listen, this is how i dominate rookies and then never call travel. So listen up. You will need a basketball and a ground to bounce it off of. And hands to catch it. Ready?

Okay, get into a lunge with the left foot forward. Start dribbling, now the second you pick up your back foot (right) to move it forward you pick up your dribble and take 2 steps. When done properly, it almost is 3 steps.

  • Holy hell. That was one of the best moves ive ever seen.

  • This is too much to handle

  • SMH Move out the fucking way!

  • man i did this at a high school rec game and they kicked me out

  • people are right about travel because he doesnt land the pro hop with 2 feet at the same time (and that counts as his 2nd step). but, you know, its close enough and its the nba. better than lebron's 3 steps.

  • I wish he played like this against the bulls last night -_-

  • I LOVE THIS MOVE

  • They're teammates AGAIN (back from their time with the Bulls), and ironically they're against the Bulls in this playoff series.

  • And now they're teammates...

  • I got crossed just by watching the video.

  • @xAcer12x

    same here.

  • Apparently 'shake and bake' means 'missed traveling violation.'

  • @zander72 it certainly looks like a travel, but if you slow it down, he dribbles at the same time he jump stops so he's allowed the extra "hop" after the move.

  • @zander72.............. your a dipshit.. how about learning how to count 2 steps

  • LOL @ Sefolosha's grunt :1

  • oh yea it was a travel his feet didn't land at the same time

  • Its called PRO-HOP

  • Ya Dont Know Ya Calls At All .. Thats not a Travel he HopStepped

  • my favorite move

  • its really not a travel because when he did the move he planted both feet before shooting so its really not :P u dont know ur calls

  • Kirk Hinrich was like "huh were'd he go"

  • Wow...wow

  • damn Jamal Crawford the former Chicago Bull doing work to his old team.

  • Monster!

  • OHHH SHITTTTTTTTTTTT!

  • that was disturbing..

  • Not a travel.

  • yes it is a travel, but it is barely noticeable going fast motion, only slow-mo. you have to admit it is a beast move though. and 21 people failed at the move

  • @greekkiller1

-__- thats not a travel... its like a hopstep

  • @greekkiller1 thats not a travel...one back dribble and a hopstep..no steps taken after the 1 back dribble. a hopstep counts as 2 steps

  • @greekkiller1 there is no travel. Since he was still on his dribble. Then he took the hopstep

  • former chicago bull

  • but this time he did travel..... lol

  • as long as he initiates the jump stop on two feet along with the behind the back dribble at the same time, and hops and lands on two feet then elavating up its fine. no travel.

  • @devanNricci taking a look at this again, it was travel considering he didnnt go up landing on two feet instead taking a one two with his right then left. but in many other cases we've seen him do it legally, still an amazing move tho

  • travel... But the stupied Americans do not understand that word

  • @acatracy stupid*

  • @acatracy Lol stupid eurotrash, we created the game, I think we'd know what a travel is.

  • @JohnBrody23 uhh actually u didint create shit a canadian invented Basketball!

  • @jnsermon sports can't be invented. you don't sit down and strategically create a sport. you can bog it down with rule and regulations, but to invent throwing a ball throw a straw basket? come on now don't embarrass yourself with this type of comment.

  • @JohnBrody23 lol dumb fuck

  • @JohnBrody23 Just because someone from the same country as you made the game doesn't mean you know everything about it. Plus, they have changed the rules alot over the years

  • @JohnBrody23 you do not know to wipe your ass dumb fat idiot!

  • Love the ooo's from the crowd.

  • I havent seen him do this in the Hawks yet

  • Wow, that was like 2K10 Defence right there :O

  • This nigga travelled...

  • @jelll4 u kiddin right he power hopped an then went up with 2 feet and layed it he didnt travel

  • @marioarias08 He clearly didn't land with both feet at the same time on the behind the back dribble... otherwise it would have been perfect... I've seen him do it before without the travel, but this time was definately a travel.

  • @jelll4 no.

  • @AHam017 yes... I've seen him do it with out travelling. Not doubting it, but on this one he for sure travelled. Hah.

  • A legal hopstep is performed by jumping off of one foot and then landing on two AT THE SAME TIME. If one foot lands before the other it's not a hop step.

It's an amazing move that Jamaal usually does legally. Here it is a travel.

  • @europeanbamf It's legal bro, stop being pedantic, you're embarrassing yourself.

  • @JohnBrody23 Attacking me doesn't change the fact that I am right. lol

  • @europeanbamf LOL just becuz you replayed the tape 20 times and saw it in slowmotion 20 times you are gonna assume that its a travel. Geez.... another smartass begging for attention. People cant always land both on their feet at the same time but since its happening so fast you wont see any difference thats why the referee couldnt call for the travel. And since the referee didnt call it a travel and the stats sheet says jamal crawford did not commit a turnover then its not a travel.

  • @DemonXY2J It sounds like you are assuming that a ref never misses a call.

  • This shit is straight beast. Fuck behind the back cross then hopsteps nicely for the and1, hinrich should just fuck off from the nba.

  • its not a travel you dumb fucks that say it is. he behind the back dribbled and then hop steps

  • 20 people got their ankles broke when they saw this...

  • One of the sweetest moves I've ever seen.

  • in slo mo it looks like a travel but its really not lol

  • Where is Hinrich? :D

  • Kirk Hinrich Dislikes this..

  • isnt that a travel?

  • sick move, but a travel. on the step he didnt land with both feet down. so he took 3 steps

  • So sad i was the day the knicks traded him. I dont care if it was for "summer of LeBron" which was stupid... i never wanted Lebron anyway(Seriously that would be way to much drama in NY

  • What happened dis time is instead of landing on both feet at the same time on the 2nd allowed step, he miss-times his steps and his feet don't land at the same time on the allowed second step. Thus he took 3 steps instead of two which makes it a travel.

If you're using a prohop off the behind the back driblle you must make sure you land on your 2 feet at the same time after the 1st step. Crawford took a step, hopped (and instead of landin on 2 feet at the same time) nd took 2 mo small steps

  • When Crawford shakes and bakes it usually isn't a travel. But in this specific video he did travel because of the mini steps he was taking. In the NBA your allowed to steps on your gather. You can take your 1st step and on your 2nd step land on 2 feet feet rather than 1. It's hard to do becuz of the precision and quickness factor. Plus Crawford was in transition which makes it harder.

  • Not a travel the ball was dribbled behind his back when the right foot went down then he pro-hopped then layup

  • Travel? If lebron can take 8 steps without getting called for it then this is nothing.

  • @woodyfly its not a travel even if LBJ didnt take 10 steps. the 1st hop step isnt really a hopstep cuz he is still dribblin

  • Kirk Hinrich disliked this 20 times.

  • travel

  • @Zapodo14 no. he does hop step but he does behind the back dribble so he can hop step again. throw your comment out the window

  • @TheCheesepass yeah he just stops takes one more step then jump stop again that equals three step so it a ttavel. throw your comment out the window

  • @Zapodo14 he hoped stepped twice. first one with behind back 2nd and took off on the second one. no travel

  • @dardvie111 oh now i see thanks bro

  • u guys are so dumb, its not a travel, its just a behind the back move, then a gather with both feet. he lifts off immediately hes pro.... and nba has a 3 step rule, 3 steps is allowed in the nba. no ref calls it. check our lebron james and shit man.

  • One of my favorite players, "Craw-ssover" has the best handles in the NBA.

  • hes so quick!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • There should be no dislikes!!!!!!

  • Imagine he missed :O

  • I make NBA mixes with so much passion but nobody watches them...could anyone in here give me a comment at least?

  • i love how you can even hear the ooohh's and ahh's of the crowd

  • THE BEST MOVE EVER !!!

  • OOOOOOOHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! The crowd after the crossover

  • DAAAAAAAAAMNNNNNNN......

  • you all say wat u wanna say...but that is the greatest nba crossover ever!!!

made by one of the greatest player ever played the game!!!

  • @RebelHoundz11 Jamal Crawford is one of the greatest players to play in the NBA???

    WHAT?

  • @LifeFirst

exactly...he is just underated but sick !

  • A little travel....but I think no one would dare to stop this play, cause its beautful...if he jumps in 1 feet, landed in 2 and then jumps would be perfect... but as soon as he jumps with the left foot he touches the ground with the right AND THEN take de two feet jump

  • who else jizzed their pants?

  • He Hopsteps

    No Travel

  • Just a beautiful move and so much harder than it looks

  • It's not a hard move to do. But to do it at that speed is impossible.

  • Hhahahahha! at Heinrich 0:13

  • :O...............

  • damn i love that move!

  • pasos

  • Sikkk move!!

  • Lmao listen to the crowd

  • isn't it a travel when you grab the ball before you hop?

  • @Elcocotero No

  • shake and bake isnt a travel, but in this instance if you watch carefully, his right foot slightly taps the ground before the two foot hop.

    therefore this IS a travel.

  • @antkiller9494 but its too fast for the refs to notice..

  • @pabloyuazn

yeah. those can pass, compared to some other blatant travels by lebron

i was just answering those who DIDNT think it was a travel even with the slo-mo

  • @antkiller9494 apparently its two and a half steps whenever he picks up the ball and does his lay up.. its really gay some nba rules... they even missed the foul on durant agaisnt utah but they did admit that they missed it on nba . com..

  • @pabloyuazn

yeah i really wanted utah to lose lol

  • many people can dunk but few can do that in an nba game!

  • did he invented that move?

  • @ostyn1630 i believe so

  • why is i t call teh Shake and Bake ?

  • I say WOW 3 times when watching this.

The first two 'Wows' are because the play was amazing. and 'WOW' too all those retards who think its a travel

  • Yeah he was still in dribbling motion for the first step so pretty sure it wasnt travel.

    AMAZING move either way

  • He took 3 steps didnt he? He took one step with his right leg, jumped up, and than came than on two legs!

I dont know wether this is travel in the NBA, it is in Europe though

  • why? he dribbled at the same time as that first "step". it's just a 2 foot jump stop which counts as a step

  • pay close attention to his right foot, when the video plays it in slow motion. you see he makes a little step after the jumpstop. then he does two feet hop.

  • No its called a hop step no travel

  • @remyrulez it's called a hop-step, it's allowed in the NBA

  • i agree. it is a travel. its one of those crab dribble thing.

  • The best I've ever seen!!

  • i take that back, i got this move down now

  • in england the refs would just call that a travel straight away

  • @slicknic46 even though..that isnt a travwel... theres a reason why NBA is bigger than the...england whtever league

  • love the crowd's reaction

  • maybe the sickest move i have EVER seen

  • Not Travel!! That's called "inverse stop"!!

  • no matter how hard i try, i CANT pull that move off!!! omg lol kirk just froze haha

  • it aint travel cos he pevet his feet to stop and dribbled behind the back then he took 2 steps at the same time then lay it in.

  • it isnt a travel because he dribbles behind the back and landed two feets on the floor, then he jumped landed again with two feets (no travel same here in europe) and the raised up to the hole... nice move very nice

  • @Pikkel82 actually crawford traveled. He jump stops while he dribbles behind him but he takes a small step with his right foot, then he jump stops again, therefore its a travel. Watch the video again.

  • @tinfoilandy

    nah, it isn't a travel.

Go read NBA rules section 4 and 10, and FIBA rule 5 article 25.

in NBA, dribble ends when two hands on the ball and in control. His pivot was his right foot when the dribble ended, which allowed him the 2 count henceforth. however, unlike the conventional Pivot foot->other foot-Pivot-foot up, he did pivot foot->pivot foot->other foot up, which is still 2 count on the up.

    No travel.

  • @CastorFrost oooOOOoooOOoo okay Thanks for clearing that up.

  • @tinfoilandy its not a jump stop if he is still dribbling its a tough call to make in real time

  • Comment removed

  • @Pikkel82

Wrong, because for that to be allowed, he needs to not have his two feet on the floor when he catches the ball, then he can land his two feet on the floor at the same time.

If you have your two feet on the floor when you catch the ball, you are not allowed to jump your two feet and land the two and jump again for the layup.

We don't see here if he has one foot or two feet on the floor when he catches the ball, so we don't know.

  • @Gilbertnba1 Iam a Referee in Germany and it isnt a Travel. Because the hoop step is allowed cause you do a jumpstop set your both feets on the ground at the same time 1 COURTCONTACT you jump to the Basket and set your feets at the same time on the court Second COURT CONTACT. IF you now set a Pivot foot it is Travel. But if you Raise now with two feets to the HOLE it isnt a travel, because you had 2 STEPS or Courtcontact. NO experienced Referee in Europe would whistle a Travel here

  • @Pikkel82 I absolutely love this move but yes, it is a travel. What it slowly and if you make him do it in NBA 2K10 you can slow the whole thing right down. When he is bringing the ball behind his back the first step taken with the ball secured and off the dribble is with his right foot. He then does a 2 foot hop and this would be fine to do BUT he has to make sure his left foot lands before his right on the hop. If you go to NBA's site and look at the video rule book youll see what i mean :)

  • @SaltRok im sorry but your wrong, kill your self

  • @SaltRok STUPID! While hes running he still hasnt took his 2 steps, he takes a ho step watch this video slowly.

  • @jon36mafia I know its a hop step but the rule of a hop step is that if your first collection foot is your right then when you jump onto 2 feet for the hop step, your left foot has to land before the right one does otherwise its a travel. Theres another version of this same clip on Youtube where the commentators correctly say its illegal but the move is so quick its hard to call. He doesn't always travel when he does it it depends what angle he comes in at but in this one yes, he does

  • @Pikkel82

You are retarded... usually its not a travel. But in THIS VIDEO is bloody well actually shows him travelling. You can see he makes a small step with his Right foot, before performing a TWO foot jump stop... Learn to actually watch the video in its entirety first before making a comment . FAR out.... Stupid.

Sick move though Crawford! and he usually does it without travelling. But this time, he travelled.

  • @Chat2Conaz Does it matter? You can't call it now it happened three years ago.

  • @Chat2Conaz well it is "bloody well" that you're fucking stupid and it isn't a travel. So shut the fuck up Harry Potter.

  • @Pikkel82 he foot slides on the last steps.

  • @Pikkel82 Normally, you would be right. But if you look closely, he actually does not land on two feet at first. His feet are alternating, and towards the end of the move he end up taking three steps in succession. This means that it's a travel.

  • @europeanbamf lol U checked when he grabbed the ball ? I think u didn't

he grabs the ball behind his back as soon as his both feets touch the ground and than he explodes to the other way for lay up thats not travel not even in europe ...

  • @lightsw0rd Look right before he goes up for the shot. If he landed with both feet touching the ground at the SAME time, it would be a legal move, but in this instance, one foot touched the floor slightly before the other. Therefore it is a travel.

Pay attention to his feet, not the rest of his body, and you will also see it. :)

  • @europeanbamf Both feet left the floor at the same time after the ball went behind his back. The fact that they touched barely at the same time after is irrelevant, it's not a travel. I don't know how they ball in Europe but that's not a travel in the NBA.

  • @JohnBrody23 My point is that they DIDN'T land at the same time. One foot hit the ground before the other on his hop step.

  • @europeanbamf its not a travel its a hoptep you fuckin clown

  • @Pikkel82 he didn't land with two feet it was one and thats was when the ball was on the way back up to his left hand then he did a pro hop to finish

  • Kirk Hinrich was confused

  • pure nastiness man,,nastiness

  • he only took 2 steps... first he did the shaky thing and the back dribble then grabs the ball do a 2 step pro hop and lay up to the rim

  • i dont understand how 4 steps can be taken i thot it was like 2 and a half anyone care to explain to me?

  • BOY that was NASTY!!!

  • kirk looked like he was shocked at what just happened.

  • kirk heinrich is a solid defender too

  • OOOOHHHH MY LOOORRDDDD! lol

  • he didnt travel because he dribbled first and then hop stepped. cuz i did this move before.. had to steal it

  • move was nasty!

  • if you don't know about basketball don't say it's travel... noob..

  • god damn man.where da fkin travel @? he did a behind the back crossover, hopstep(jumpstep) layed it up.. He traveld b4 doin dis move but not dis 1

  • omg ive tried practicin dis move a shit load a timez but i traveled lik everytime cept one out of lik 200 atempts lol

  • People if you dont know how to play this game please dont comment...Its not travelling...!It's just a hop step, jumb stop name it as you wish...!

  • IT"S A HOPSTEP :)

  • steps

  • 4 steps... yep... normal nba administration
