I have a cell solid, cell pearl, mutant cell and mutant cell pearl, and a virtual gravity, I would like another roto, nomad dagger, or infinite theory? Which would you recommend as a better overall ball? Watch my vids and you can see my style, please get back at me
@iStyleProduction ii gotta similar story to you...my avg has been about a 185 190 with this ball this ball can hook and this ball hits hard than anything ive ever had
Thanks for the review, I was looking foward to this and it seems the Theory really is a strong ball. Compared to the Rogue it seems, the Theory reacts much more, giving heavy oil patterns no chance, but what if the lane conditions start to break down ? The Rogue will still be hitting the pocket, while the stronger ball will over react.... not ? I just bowl since 1.5 years, so I'm a real newb, therefore this newb question.
@hinoon You could switch balls or keep the same ball and it just take some of the hand out of the ball or throw the ball a bit faster. Going from something strong, like the Theory, to a weaker ball (say a Virtual Energy) may force you to play a straighter angle to the pocket. It depends on what conditions you are on, the oil pattern, where the other bowlers are playing and what you are most comfortable playing.
i think they are just trying to make the ball seem as good as they can even if it means trashing a previous ball lol. i have the mutant cell right now! i think this will be my next ball!
why is it, when a new ball comes out, it is immediately compared to a previous release as so much better? Why trash one model of ball to the other? I found it dis-heartening when compared to the Rogue...On league nights, when other bowlers just can't find their line or the lanes start breaking down, my Rogue just keeps right on track like it's riding on rails.
@Tolzer It's not exactly bashing, but since the last one was hot shit, this one is hotter. They're saying that the last one was the best, but this new one is better, like a progression thing
good review but i think it would have been better to sand the Rogue Cell to 2000 so it would be more compareable with the Theory. either way tho it's pretty obvious the Theory is a strong ball.

Instead of asking people here, why dont you see what your pro shop recommends ?
WIth the list of what you currently have, do you think that you really need another new ball ?
"Which would you recommend as a better overall ball?"
Depends on how you drill it, what type of condition you are going to use it on, so honestly its hard to answer that question .
