@bellamovie2 When The Lion King 1 was created, the gender wasn't specified. It was probably originally a boy. In part 2, they made it clear by making the cub a girl.

I played this when I was a kid but it was forever ago that I went back to playing. But when I heard Simba say, "What am I gonna do?" it makes me think of a 4 or 5 year old kid saying that quote.
