not as good as the sega cd version in the soundtrack deparment, and they left 2 levels of that version out but it compensate it by the fact that it has new bonus levels, the multiplayer is fun as hell and the hd graphics looks gorgeous.

I got this yesterday. It was good. But nothing can beat the originals!!!! If you beat it on easy it has the "what are worms" credits. Beat it on hard you get the original ending. It left out a few things that should've been there :/

-Big Bruty (extra level in special edition version)

-"Who Turned Out The Lights?" (hidden mini level in Level 5)

Online co-op is fun! But I still like the original ones better.

Yeah I also picked this up on my Ps3 when it came out a few days ago, its an excellent remake and gives a great challenge on original mode. Easily worth $10.

@JawboneX Wait, how would that be Groovy? Dan Castenella voiced him only on "Earthworm Jim 3D" and Clay Fighter where he Guest Appeared in. It never said he voiced him on the "Original" Earthworm Jim. It's actually Doug TenNapel, he still voices him, even if his Voice changed.

I want a remake of the original 2D Rayman game in this style. With the release of Rayman Origins coming up, now would be the perfect time. Gameloft recently ported Rayman 2 to the iPhone (and developed a bunch of other handheld Rayman games), so they're already familiar with that world.

Was their anything wrong with re-using Tommy Tallarico's original Redbook soundtrack for Earthworm Jim that were disc released, like on the SEGA CD and Playstation? The songs were already damn good, and now I hear the remade song here from "Use Your Head" and it sounds so bland. Thank goodness for the 360's custom soundtrack.

Also, I really hope the game stays true to the classic. I have EWJ that was rereleased on the DSi and the controls are horrid.

All of these damn voice comments...If you played the special edition on Sega CD, you'd notice that the game DOES use the original voices-just in higher quality than what's found on the genesis or snes. The voice at the end of the trailer, which definitely is NOT original, doesn't appear in any gameplay footage. For all we know, it was recorded just for this trailer.
