Your Video Is Very Useful Sharing The video clips illustrate the different phases of a clinical interview. This consultation takes place in a hospital outpatient clinic.
Is it standard practice for M.D.s in the U.K. to introduce themselves as "Mr." rather than "Dr."? I kind of like it--wish we would do that here in the States (although, being female, I would choose "Ms" of course :)).
it's for surgeons rather than physicians. all surgical practitioners call themselve Mr/Ms instead of dr. it has to do with surgeons not being recognised as doctors - historically that is... (pl correct meif i'm wrong).
@shamrock1337tm That's ironic considering that surgeons now generally go through more years of training than practitioners in the other specialties! I guess it's "once a barber, always a barber," although one has to ask what kind of barber a urologist would have been :)
