The thing is, Pac is 5'6". His ideal weight therefore is 140-150ish. So really, he's fighting at his optimum weight which translates to optimum power. It's no surprise why he's so strong at that weight because he is healthy.

The thing is, Pac is 5'6". His ideal weight therefore is 140-150ish. So really, he's fighting at his optimum weight which translates to optimum power. It's no surprise why he's so strong at that weight because he is healthy.

Pacquiao got knocked down by Mosley and was boring throughout the fight so don't try comparing that with me dickhead! Marque's downfall in the previous 2 fights has been the knockdowns to Pac-man, so his plan will be to keep a tight defence and counter-punching Pac-man to great effect. If he can get through the first four rounds without a serious hitch then it will be Pac-man who will be in trouble because Marquez is strong from the 6th rd onwards.

Pacquiao fought Dela Hoya a year and a half after Mayweather beat him, Pacquiao also fought him at 147, and Oscar is a natural 154. @davaw1 just because Pac don't take tests doesn't automatically mean he's a user. proof is definitive, not speculation. proof is fact. the quote by the commentator is his way of dramatically describing
Pac's rise through the weight classes and is meant to be consumed as a matter of fact. get a dictionary first before posting.

@davaw1 been brushing up on your current events? Pac's camp already agreed (ages ago) to ANY kind of test that Mayweather's camp deems fit. and still PBF still won't sign on for the fight until he was charged as of late. so unless you get "real proof" that can be substantiated by "real" tests from "real" experts, don't make a fool of yourself.

@pipinbingi why was an e-mail sent from pacquiao's camp when they did agree saying if manny fails can we keep the results secret to protect the sports of boxing, i don't think in a court of law any of this would stand. the only reason there is no proof is because manny wouldn't take the tests.

and again, you demonstrate your flawed logic. Pac has already agreed to any test. Again, ALREADY AGREED to ANY TEST. Once PBF gets out of his legal troubles and finally AGREES to fight Pac, then Pac WILL undergo the test and we'll know for SURE if somone is on PEDs. So until that test is administered, you cannot accuse anybody of anything.

@davaw1 enlighten us all by giving us a link showing UNDENIABLE proof that there were emails. until then, these are all rumors spread by rumor mongering people such as yourself and Floyd Sr. who cannot accept the success that Pac is enjoying right now. handpicking fights? check PBF's opponents and see who's doing the handpicking. washed up? hatton and DLH were only a few months removed after fighting PBF. PBF just taught them a lesson. Pac annihilated 'em.

@pipinbingi And the Margarito fight was at a catch weight? how can the 154 title be fought at a catchweight of 150 so he shouldn't really be allowed that to be called a championship fight, and now he's fightin Shane Mosley, who last year all the Pacquiao fans slated Mayweather for taking the fight, but now Pacquiao does it, its ok? funny how Manny and Freddie DUCKED Shane two years ago, and they were talking about if the fight did go ahead it would be fought at a catchweight!

if anyone wants to fight Pacquiao. they should put together all skill fighter to outworked him. hes just to skilled to any fighter who fought against him.. im tired of listening every opponents talking about how they gonna beat Pacquiao, but in the end.. they all got beaten up.

as mike tyson and roberto duran have stated ''punchers are born not made'' the ability to hit hard is natural technique people have like pacquiao so that fact that his weight goes up his punch power goes up as he has more weight behind the punch and bigger muscles throwing the punch nothing to do with steroids or anything else its god given talent

Hatton COULD have been better than he ever was. Colin Hart was so right about Hatton's lifestyle destroying his chances of being truly great.
Hatton was really, really good (obviously), but he had the potential to be even better if he'd put in the work and had the discipline, especially between fights. I LOVE Hatton, love his personality, humour... but he had no control of his life. He'd never have been as good as Pacquiao or Mayweather no matter what, but he could have been better than he was.
