  • Hell yeah....I love you guys!! Keep rockin and kickin ass...we support you!!!

  • the 82 is good if u like the traditional side of the army. but it gets old. i was in the 508th and ya maybe they are in better shape. its because we used to run almost everyday. 7, 10, 15 and 22 mile road marches were normal. but its gay. fayetteville is a shit hole and im glad i pcs ed to another unit. im glad to be a leg and be over that whole paratrooper life. AND for the record. yes the 82nd can deploy on hours notice...but they dont do that anymore they are not Rangers or Special Forces!!!!

  • LOL I agree. Fayettnam really sucked. One reason I loved the 82nd is because we were usually one of the first units deployed. But that's the same with any unit that was part of 18th Airbone Corp.

  • That's more of a judgement call. We all claim to be the best. I was in the 504 Devils. Then you have 325 Falcon. Then the 505 Panthers. We all train the same for the same mission, to be ready at a moments notice to fly out and be in the battle within 12 hours of first notice.

  • Comment removed

  • As far as fitness and training, probably the paratrooper is a little ahead. Don't know for sure though, never been a marine. lol.

  • Comment removed

  • Yeah, your right. One thing they impress upon us is physical fitness. More than anything the Division loves running. We would spend three days of the week running 4 miles a day. One day would account for upper body and the last day would be ruck marches (around 7 miles). It wasn't easy but you have a better respect for it when you go through it.

  • You didn't answer my question. What country are you from? Or are you too afraid of sounding like a retard? Oops. Too late.

  • Sorry there ma'am. You might want to look up the definition of morality. I'm pretty sure your name won't be anywhere near that word. If you want to see your picture, look up the word coward.

  • LOL What a tool. Hudson surfs the internet to make idiotic comments on people's videos.

  • auburnfan27, you are a heinous asshole that seriously needs to be ass raped to death.

  • Just more asshole gun thugs lacking the wherewithal to find suitable employment in the Zionist owned USA. The few, the proud, the mafia henchmen of the US welfare with guns project.

  • And what country are you from?

  • I freakin love the 82nd and ive always wanted to join their ranks.

Eventually I am going to enlist, how do I get into the 82nd?

  • Be in good shape physically and mentally, then talk to your recruiter and let him know you want to be a paratrooper. He'll give you the info you need.

PS I almost forgot. You can't be afraid of heights. lol

  • Haha im not afraid of heights, I love flying!

  • 101st is the best!!!.....Smith....watch yer Six and get back home bro and we will go fishing!!!!

  • lol come on brother. you know the 82nd rocks them all. no shame in being 2nd best. lol j/k

  • Hope to see you brothers Past and preent in May STRIKE HOLD!

  • Making my vacation plans to head there myself. See ya on Bragg.

  • White Devils

    OEF 6 05/06

    Airborne Forever

  • get some, Airborne all the way! 504 Devils rule!

  • I write to a soldier stationed there. Any advice on what to put in care packages? But yeah, the Warrior Battalion at Riverdale High supports all you troops! ^^

  • personal hygiene and cookies are pretty good. and also new movies. when we are not working, watching a movie is the way we usually pass the time.

  • Devils in baggy pants all the way!

I love you guys and thank you for all you have done and will do in the future!

  • I remember when we took over from the 101st. I was a medic with A-co 1-504th when we took over in 2002

  • I remember that. I was in D co 1-504. If I do recall, ya'll got a lot more done in the time you were there. No offence 101, but 82nd is a unit untoo itself with the highest of quality soldiers. (i'm sure i'll get a few jabs from the 101, but i can't help but to pick on our little sister. lol

  • i see a few familiar faces in these pictures...i was in salerno for OEF VI with 44th signal bn
