I live in Canada and had no concept of the level of devastation that struck Ukraine, Poland, Belarus and the Baltic States. 14 million, non-combatants, were murdered by political decree between 1933 and 1945. They all suffered horribly but Ukraine worst of all. These people still feel those wounds, it happened only a generation ago.

It’s because of history. In these years was WWII, she is trying to interpret Germany’s invasion and occupation. Also music is dramatic and these effects… Shooting, flying sounds and all… They are really dramatic, because it’s represent WWII. People experienced that war (in history), when they remember it it’s really sad (I mean people were dying in war, families were separated and etc. And she is showing all that and music is also sad, so that’s why people started to cry).

my jaw literally dropped at 2:00 when she's painting the running crowd. I mean what the..? she brushes her hand across and it already immediately looks like people.. thats so crazy.. I'm an artist myself (digital painting, game concept etc though..) and this is absolutely BREATHTAKING. really good, heartbreaking, astonishing and just plain beautiful... what makes it even more amazing is her timing, with the music and everything.. just incredible.
