Have you noticed a rattle under low loads? Mine works great at half and above but with a really low load it sounds like something is loose.

Iam in the Uk and have the 240 volt type and have found better starting if you fit a better spark plug and if you have it cut out or the lights flicker check the wires under the tank for the rubbers on the plugs out of place or damaged and i put a rubber sheet over the lot with tie wraps to stop wear.And if poor starting check with a meter watch the voltage and adjust the throttle stop for stable engine and if still not right a little more air on the air screw [ out] 1/4 turn .New fueline

no it is sealed and the handel bbolts to the top, it have the handel on it now , it a good genrator every one needs one of these very ecomical

Without the handle installed, doesn't fuel leak out the holes for the handle bolts?

same generator design, same as the pepboys generator, they are small and handy when needed, so you don't have to drag the big generators around, plus they are quieter, big deal on them high emission 2 stroke generators, add a smoke stack on yours, just a thought :winks:
