  • Cool man...awesome.

  • wow this coop is really badass. gave some great ideas! thanks!

  • If you don't fasten those inside parts somehow, the chickens will kick them out of place, and the problem with a run with low height is, what if you have to retrieve a sick or dead chicken?

  • Thanks your film, because it was very interesting and practicle.

  • The flaws I see with this coop is, the Roost should be above the egg boxes or else you may find them roosting in the next boxes and pooping in them (they poop a lot when perched) , I had this problem last winter with my old coop.

  • perfect!!!!!!!!!!! not to big and not to small and not to fancy!!!

  • How many chickens does this coop hold?

  • do you have the plans for that coop, it os really nice and would be perfect for my chickens.

  • wow, that's really slick. Wish I had a nice coup like that when I had chickens. It's nice and neat and easy to service and keep clean. I love the nesting boxes.

  • Great Job!!!! Did you use treated lumber?

  • do u have to have a heat lamp in the winter.???

  • are those golden buff

  • are those golden buff

  • not to fancy but great idea for cleaning. like how everything slides in and out

  • Wow! Great job! Question what did you use for liners for the nesting boxes???

  • i meant u should of told us how u build it,wat u put inside(wat did u use) and wat u did to make the things stay like that in the middle

  • u should tell us how to build it

bcuz i need a chicken coop like dat one it looks perfect for my two chickens here in maui

  • @janine9144 i just made one and it looks amazing! and all i made it out of was scrap wood lying around so you shoudl just go for it man!

  • i used pretty much the same design with the nesting boxes and the removable platforms but i extended the 2nd story and made under coop available for them to run under if they want to

  • what are the dimensions of your nest box?

  • ball ache to clean

  • very slick.....

  • Holy shit that's clever!!! What are the dimensions of the box? Seems to me the lattice walkway is made of plastic...wouldn't there be a chance of them melting under the heat of the lamp?

  • Very nice coop! Are those Golden Commet pullets?

  • Nice job, gives me good ideas for my mini-coop. Have you thought about adding a window? Could buy some plexiglass (18"x8"), cut a hole in the side plywood, predrill holes on the plexiglass and then caulk around it. Hens will appreciate it and you can peep inside without opening the whole thing up!

  • very nice coop

  • good idea on the floor

dont thik it woulkd work in my chicken house its a massive barn

  • great work one thing the perch is best a one inch round dowl

  • is it just for two? or more?

  • you say but is it straw? i was going to use straw because i thought hay would absorb air moister quickly like

  • straw whould be used for bedding as its usually much cheaper and as you said will not absorb moisture like the hay will.

Hay is typically more expensive and used for feed for animals.

  • omg sick hen house!

  • Great design do you have any other designs etc

  • I hope the pullets appreciate the design effort! Nice work!

  • What king of chickens do u have?

  • muy bonita y practico tambien gracias

  • nice. I dig it.

  • Well done.. thanks for sharing..

  • nice coop

  • it looks sooooo easy...lol

  • how did u bild it

  • Nice design, thanks

  • Great coop thanks for posting this video.

  • nice coop!

  • that is so simple... i love it, but one complaint, i wouldnt use sheet metal because they can get spraddle leg. but that is only for chickes but u can never be to sure. once again im trying not to offend you in anyway it really is a great idea.:)

  • I would love to have chickens but I am worried about what to do with all the eggs! Isn't eating eggs every day bad for you?

  • ASSEMblerEX - Eating two eggs a day has no effect on healthy people as part of a healthy diet. If you have high cholesterol, doctors recommend you don't eat more than one egg per day. If you eat processed foods, you'd be amazed at how many eggs you eat a day without realizing it. I tend to eat around 2 a day, and my neighbours line up to take fresh eggs off my hands, for a price! :) You can also get pet breeds, which aren't such prolific layers, such as silkies.

  • then eat them every other few days and if you only get a few chickens then you shouldn't have to worry about too many eggs and you can keep them in the fridge just like other ones

  • I live on eggs and have perfect colestorol,

they now say in the uk its fine to eat eggs.

    But hey everything in moderation.

  • Give some to neighbors or sell them. No eating only about 2 eggs is perfectly fine.

  • This is really cleverly designed. I'm about to refurbish my chicken chalet, and will be stealing one or two of your ideas :)

  • wow that is really cool!

  • that was brilliant! excellent designs, so simple but cleverly crafted. Shows true talent, compared to the over priced crap sold in pet shops and the internet! keep up the good work!! ^__^

  • fits together like lego.

    very well designed.

  • Cool Vid!

  • wow thats kool

  • Wow. This is awesome. I need to move into a house on some land.
