  • so 2012 is postponed to 2029? good to know!

  • Would people stop comparing stuff to nukes without specifying how powerful those nukes are, Hiroshima was 14,000 tons, The Tsar bomb was over 50,000,000 tons, that's more than 3 orders of magnitude!

  • @11cookeaw1 Its compared to something many people would recognize. Which is common.

  • it wil strike in 2036 on friday the 13th april

  • from 1:49 till the end is a movie i watched it

  • @2tailshollowmask "Deep Impact" ^^

  • @M4levolence oh thnx i didnt now the name now i know it :D

  • good god go fuck yourself stop using this song your not a dramatic film editor youre a youtube fuckhead like every1 else. seriously you people make me want to poke my eardrums out. go drink rotton red piss you peabrained pig fucker. hahahahaha

  • deep impact haha

  • all i can say is im a scientist and what we scientist think that what will happen in 2012 (in the movies) will !truely! happen the spreading of the seafloor and after it is finish the apophis will strike the earths water mass ! and there the universe is destroyed! or may be just the earth? hahaha

  • and her ass wasnt bad either

  • Why do they always use the same damned music.

  • If it is only 100 times as powerful as the A- bomb then at least it wouldn't destroy the WHOLE Earth, right?

  • @thebigjc37 Yes it would not literally but to destory that prt of the earth it would would not allow life and the earths magnetic field and orbit would go so offbase it would be destoryed

    its basically to much damage

  • So now its appopis? Mm i thought it would be nirburu , or the millenium mayhem.... Mmmm i gues this one will happen

    XD

  • its soooo Fake!!!! the end of the vvorld still happen in millions years!!!!!!!!!

  • what is the movie this scene was in!!!!

  • im not worried about these kinds of things like 2012, and astroids and giant waves coming to destroy all of mankind im worried about the god DAMN nukes that might be shooting at us if we like start WWIII. thats what im worried about.

  • Nope, its 2 miles in diameter and its traveling in the same direction as the earth is around the sun, so no, it would not look like this, but i could end human kind. But, thats if it hits us, and you know what those stats are, 1 : 12.6 mill., one out of 12.6 million.

So keep ya smilly faces on here people.

  • @PimpDady57 Actually, it's about the size of a football stadium. It might rape us up the butt, but at least we wouldn't ALL die.

  • @Ebob101,

    Google It.

  • @PimpDady57 Hmm. Maybe. I don't really have my facts down, i just saw a legit documentary is all :P

  • @Ebob101 Exactly, I AM ALLWAYS CORRECT

  • shit quality. fail music. gg.

  • GUYS! I LOOKD AT A TELASCOPE! AND I SEE A ASTROID 9000000000000000000000000000 METERS LONG!!!!!!!! I THINK THAT CAN DESTROY THAT METEOR! WAIT!-IDEA HAPPENS-wut if we get a space ship with nuclear missles 29 nuclear missles and then shoot them at the to astroids!

  • @mewto547 the missles will destroy it but the smaller pieces will strike earth

  • @TheUndertakerfan12 ya but luckly not kill us all well get injured

  • is this realy gonna happen im scared!

  • @mewto547 00.04% that this will happen you know..

  • apophis is not a planetary killer, but look this one

    (143649) 2003 QQ47

it will pass near the earth in 2014

  • ur font sux only watched the first 10 sec.

  • first of all lmao its 2036

  • why does EVERYONE always seem to use this music!!!!!! I mean cmon, it seriouslly gets old after awhile

  • It likely won't hit, I think we all know that, but if it was going to we couldn't stop it. It wouldn't end the world, but it would be a lot worse than the effects of the small meteor that hits in Deep Impact, which is what's shown in the video. The first one that is shown, the one that hits land, is a dramatization of the Chixulub meteor which supposedly wiped out the dinosaurs with some help from others around that time. There were animals who survived the chaos after those many larger impacts.

  • Wow the colour of the font for this is just terrible. Depending on where it hit, it would destroy several thousand square KM, and not the entire planet.

  • the impact would cause tsunami's.. earthquakes and smaller meteorites to fly off around the world - it would most likely end the world if it hit.

  • It will only kill people in a few km radius. We can easily evacuate the area, Provided we can estimate where it will hit.

  • Maybe we will even be able to shoot it down by then. Although they say that is very hard to do even with a nuke.

  • OMG! why did u make ur font red! i cant read that transparent writing! ahh!

  • seriosly search wikipedia! the chanse of hit 2029 is like 1 of 2 millions and 2036 1 of 45.000 / 99,9978 chanse :/

  • Hmm pushing it aside so it goes to some other planet or possibly the sun and something worse can happen too.

  • 2036*

  • DO SOME SIMPLE MATH BEFORE YOU MAKE A VIDEO!!! NASA estimated the possible energy released by an apophis impact at around 880 megatons. Thats 48,888.8 times the power of the Hiroshima bomb, not a measly 100. Obviously you have no clue of the power of a moving heavenly body.

  • Bullshit :)

Apophis would maybe destroy New York.

  • Comment removed

  • :'( Comment removed by author. I just said something a scientist said.

  • wtf are you talking about? i removed the comment because it double posted ... duh

  • god you guys are so stupid. apophis is not goiong to hit. end of story. the chances of it hitting is more than 1 and 2.4 million. stop being so gollable damn

  • Can't read the text in this video at all. Let me guess OP, you also have a geocities page with a hot pink background and bright yellow text, right? How about making something that doesn't hurt everyone's eyes?

  • if nasa know about this now and we cant deflect it with 20 years warning as a species we have failed

  • "IF" the meteor did strike it would cause a dust cloud from the impact that would block out the suns rays which mean that there will be no sunlight, no sunlight means no plants will be able to live, no plants means no vergetarian animals would survive, no veg. animals means no carnivores, no carnivores means that humans will not beable to hunt, then basically all would die. How bout u shove that up ass, this is all true btw.

  • Now its gonna hit in 2029 a week ago it was gonna hit in 2036 GMAFB

  • it is going to come by earth in 2029 and if it goes though a certain section in the atmosphere called the "keyhole" then it will meet back up with earth in 2036 and hit us if we do not redirect it.

  • Thanks. Glad you could actually tell me some info.

  • if we dont, lets pray some other object in space does, even before 2029 would be nice x.x

  • We actually are working on technology right now to deflect NEO's (Near Earth Objects) it is pretty interesting, they use the power of the sun in a concentrated area, it is pretty neat if you want the link to it say something and I'll link it.

  • (eyes glaze over) How did I know you were going to use this music for this video...

  • hahahaha This video is hilarious! Three's a 1 in 45,000 chance it will hit. Even if it does hit, it won't be the end of the world. lol

  • it will be the "end of the world" for who ever it hits...

  • Ya it probably would be actually, it's large enough to do MASSIVE scale global damage and whatever remains will block the sun and without the sun nothing can survive

  • It's not going to block the sun! LMAO! You've been watching too much Armageddon. In that movie the asteroid was the size of TEXAS. Apophis is somewhere between 250 and 350 metres in diameter.

  • Oh, never mind I remember it, yeah it probably would but regardless. This video is bull. None of this is remotely possible. It's not going to end the world, and the author has NO idea whatsoever what the hell he's talking about...

  • Bullshit

  • armageddon.

  • DUDE i saw that movie but i forgot the title whats the title of the movie i forgot?

  • deep impact?

  • is apophis gonna hit?

  • Cant read ANYTHING in this vid...The typing is not even CLSOE to bright enuf

  • Actually, by direct NEO NASA Briefing the information is stated as April 13, 2036, and is calculated as 1 in 45000. The details of which I presented in this video had been acquired prior to the recent release of the pinpointed date. Before then, the flyby was an estimated date.

  • That's impossible because first of all it's supposed to go BELOW our communication satellites, second of all it was a 1/6435 chance of hitting us in 2036, not 35 or 37, third of all, once it goes into our atmosphere, it takes a couple seconds to hit ground, and during that time it becomes VIOLET HOT, that's so hot that if you were anywhere in the diameter of however big where you could see it coming down, the light and heat coming off of it would burn you to death immediatly, just clarifying.

  • Lowered from 4 to 1 then 0.

  • Whether or not it hits some stupid flying chunks of metal doesn't matter, it isn't going to deflect about 27 million tonnes of flying space debris. I doubt the light and heat would kill anyone who could see it, after all you can see pretty far if you are well elevated. Regardless though, anyone who can see it coming down is totally screwed within a few seconds of impact.

  • I'm just stating the facts I've heard, whether they're correct or not is remain to be said, but that's what I heard on the History Channel. Also, if it's going to be glowing violet hot, which is well, very hot, yeah it probably would but whatever. I don't even remember my comment can you restate it? Heh.

  • Bullshit. You are just saying a lot of stuff hoping that people won't understand it. "Let's do some simple math". It's an asteroid big enough to destroy New York. "I will not reply on further commentaries."

  • No, he's right in a way, but just not to that magnitude. I've heard about this, when meteors come down they get superheated by the friction of travelling through the atmosphere at between 10 and 60 km/s. They scorch the earth below and if huge can burn holes in the atmosphere. However apophis isn't comparable to the Chicxulub or even one from up here in Canada, that formed the Manicouagan river and island. Anyone underneath Apophis when it broke through the atmosphere would be toast though.

  • no apophis is to small to do that all that itd do is smash into the sea of the west coast of america and take outa a few miles other then that nothing else would happen and any ways scientists are watching it and dont believe itl hit but are have ways to stop it if it comes on a collision coarse
