Using a headset to record a screencast through Screenflow.

Wow. I need this because I do tutorials and Minecraft videos and my fan is loud like that. So how much is this headset? Can it work with the macbook pro 13 inch model as well since the audio and the microphone jack is built in?

My headset is plugged into the USB extension, and that again is plugged into a USB port that I know picks it up. If your connected with USB, try another port. Then go to the Sound -> Input and see if it is picked up. If it still does not work. Unplug and restart the computer. Plug in the USB again (or the red microphone plug into the correct area). Hopefully you'll get it to work.
