i never had a problem with any of the rebuilds i have built starting right up. i have built many with nothing other then used parts. no worries silverfd, your car will still be on the road long after this one is nothing more then a memory.
@mrdiesel96 Used parts, are the key words. In this engine, we used new seals with used housings so the seals need to wear a bit on the housings to get full compression, which means 3 or 4 hours of idling or a 2 hour drive. No need to do that when using already parts that are already worn together.
All i said is a better battery would have helped. So next time you try flaming on someone maybe think that you might be actually talking to someone who has more experience than you.
@silverfdturbo6port Its a rebuilt engine with used housings, compression is low until seals wear with the housings and also lubrication is not at its best until the car has ran on idle for atleast 20 seconds, even if you crank it 20 minutes to raise the oil pressure. Thats why new engines are hard to start on "first start ups". Poor car? no, not really, we were using a VW MK5 battery, more than enough amps. Good to see you know your stuff though.
@lomansik what are you talking about?? I build rotarys for a living every motor i have built starts right up. Prime the fuel system and bam they fire right up. the oil pressure has nothing to do with starting on any engine besides diesels like powerstrokes. You are a retard you can run your car with no oil anytime, im sure you will try it as you are obviously stupid as shit. I have built tons of motors with used housings including my 550hp rx7 dayly driver.
@silverfdturbo6port Sure, whatever you say, champ. You should google the "rotary resurrection" techpage on new engine start ups though, at least you'd actually seem to know what you're talking about while shoveling manure.
And btw, and FD has 4 ports, only NA engines have the 5-6ports. Just thought you'd like to know your login sells you out right away.
hey retard thats a user name from 5 years ago when i had a 500hp fc with a 6 port motor that i turbo'd to prove retards like you wrong. God people these days
so was all that coming out just like salients and oils and such left from the rebuild?

@trdnismoguy
Most of it is from 2 stroke oil we added in the motor to build up compression faster. After all the oil was burn, the smoke stopped.

@chacal3001 ok just checking cuz it was a lot of smoke i guess it was a well oiled start up lol
