Arrgghhh! Had no idea Guttenberg did this movie! Book is effin hilarious - you cannot help but be released from depression and self pity when you read this book.

I read the book and it has some really really funny scenes but it is true that it is about loneliness and desperate feelings. I have never forgotten the book.Almost like i expereinced it myself.

Wow, this movie is about 30 years late in coming out. I saw the play in 1976 with Sal Mineo, just before he died.
