Hey Pete, it looks like you use the 7 round mags instead of the 8. Is this just preference and what are your thoughts on the 8 round mags? I've heard if the 7 round mag is stored upside down there is a tendency that it will accidentally release when moving. Thanks pete.

@xCanuckfan16x I store them paint side up, and often when i'm doing heavy diving 1 or two balls will fall out. Never had an entire mag release though. I had the 8 round mags when the tpx first came out, and had a lot of problems with the tpx then. There were too many problems back then, so I can't really say if it was because of the magazines or not, however they did seem to squish balls. Nowadays, you can't really find 8 round mags in proshops so 7s are the way to go.

@AllGhilliedUp93 awesome thanks for the info. One more question if you don't mind. I just got a new TiPX and deciding if it's worth installing the remote line adapter..as most of your vids don't show you using them. Have you had success achieving 280 fps on remote line with the TiPX? How much 12 gram C02 do you use a day and do you find it better? THANKS!

@xCanuckfan16x I usually only use the remote line when im shooting only 1 tpx, velocity is usually around 260. I normally chrono with co2 around 250 to 260. I usually use 4-8 12 ggrams in a day

hey Pete are these the original TPX or the new TiPX? I see one i can get for $185 but i think its the older model. Are these good pistols good stock?

@xCanuckfan16x My camo one is an older model, I had some problems since the beginning, but you can send it to Tippmann to get the "TiPX" upgrades installed, the black one is a tipx. Everything in them is stock except for First Strike kits and remote line adapters

@xCanuckfan16x hey i would get it....then call up tippmann support, and say u have a older model tpx, then they will send you the new parts...i would also ask them for a few of the really small orings on the piping that conects the puncture valve to everything else...if you are not carefully, they will break really easy...also, make sure u lube them..
