@JewelsShield23 Toby Gerhart is the perfect example for current white running backs. he had more rushing yards and twice as many TDs then mark Ingram last year but Ingram won the Heisman. I think the Heisman is the worst trophy handed out. Gerhart will probably be transfered to a full back instead of playing Halfback like in College.

Here's the facts: Right now Taylor Martinez, Nebraska's starting quarterback and a white guy to boot, is leading the Huskers in rushing and is one of the fastest guys on the team. @lnsdrummer1156 Personaly I would find it odd if someone who is 6'2 would lose a foot race to a midget. and martinez leads the huskers in rushing because they use a Spread offense. The QB generally runs in that scheme, Just like with Oregon, Michigan, and Florida. Its normal for the QB to run because he lacks a good throwing ability. 121 yards passing a game isnt exactly good.

2 different quarterbacks with 2 different attitudes and styles, although they both had good running and decent passing abilities. crouch's attitude is sort of like a whiny terrel owens. always wants the spotlight, and will piss and moan if he doesnt get it (not that i hate crouch, still one of my favorite NE quarterbacks)

He engaged in the block while the defender was facing him, and as long as you engage when they are facing you, you can continue to block them as long as you can regardless of whether or not they turn around.

Crouch could run, but he couldn't throw for shit. Part of Nebraska's problem that year is that the offense was based too much on Crouch running. Also, we couldn't defend the run that year, much like we couldn't defend it last year.

eric crouch had to be one of the best qbs we ever had at nebraska he could throw and run but we still got our asses handed to us at that miami game back in 01 i think also right after that year nebraskas program went to shit and now we have to rebuild it but i think we can now that we fired our athletic director peterson and have tom osbourne as the new one ps he never did make it to the nfl he did but he was never any good
