Jnb, Firstly, the route in question is from Tibet and is general called the North east route, the second most popular route up Everest.
As for number of camps in question, in our case we at one time had 6 which includes an interim camp between Base and Advance whilst we acclimatised in the early stages.
Camps general are: Base camp 5100m - Advance 6100m - North Col 7100m, North col ridge 7900m -last camp (summit assault) 8300m.

which side are they climbing from, cause I thought that the typical side climbed from there were only 4 camps.

They should try to climb K2 or Annapurna, unless they value their lives because those mountains are darned dangerous
