Been an REO fan forever, but didn't think the member changes would be a good thing. They still sound great, nothing lost anywhere! Nice to see them playing larger venues again too...no more of this county fair crap! Keep rockin"!
Seen REO at the Hilton in Vegas 2 times and they still kick ass and do a great concert. Second time they were with Styx just wished they would have filmed and recorded that concert, it was one of the best to come to Vegas.
GARY WAS THE BEST!!!! Play the video here on YouTube that features RWTC from the Wheels are Turnin' Tour...the country/western beginning that rolls into the album version. Kevin sings his heart out, and that was back in '85 when his voice was the best it's ever been. In this video above, Kevin has a shirt on that says "Recovery," probably because of his son Paris' recovery from heroin addiction. Hopefully Gary has finally beaten alcohol...
@butchgriggs : )) Hell Yes we were there!! Even better was Aug 17th, 1975 I was 13 and got to see REO, Ted Nugent, and KISS Live on stage at the Pekin Stadium!!! Nugent, Ritchrath, and Simmons in one night in Pekin, IL.... Rock and Roll it was!!
Hey @IKissmydogonthelips GO MAKE OUT WITH YOUR DOG SOME MORE and then get your "facts" straight before you open your dog licking pie hole. Ritchrath left in 1989. REO album sales peaked in the mid 80's. All I said is that REO today is not the REO of yesterday and certainly not what it was when Gary played with the band. I'm 49 and grew up with REO Speedwagon in my Backyard in Peoria buying every album they made. So MOVE ON YOURSELF and go make out some more with your DOG!!!!!!!
Not bad at all. The guitar player does a decent job at filling Garys shoes. But the guitar solos arent as solid with way to many pinch harmonics and flash.
Just watched this on Directv. One of the better Classic Rock band performances I've seen. THE 101 on Directv rocks. Got any of the Jonny Lang at Moondance? He kicked ass too. Thanks for the post.
@ExDemocrat64 They're just rolling with the changes. And because they've adapted to the times, I became a HUGE REO fan a few years ago. Nobody compares to them.
Sure there is bud. Everyone is entitled to there own opinion but If I may, REO Speedwagon has come along way through the years with MR. Bryan Hitt on drums and Dave Amato on Lead Guitar. I think the band is doing way better than before and more fans are diggin them rather than before. I hope u can agree with me at some point here :)
LOVE THESE GUYS.....TOTALLY AWESOME.....

REALLY!! I'm one of the greatest REO fans in the world (from Germany), but, SORRY!
REO without Gary is like the STONES without Keith. You can replace musicians, but you cannot replace THE HEART!!!

@Wolga0811 I'm totally agree with you! Gray was at least 50% of REO and even more in this particular song! i miss him too. Regards from Spain
