As has already been pointed out, yet people seem to be ignoring it, Ladytron didn't have the video taken down, and have said it wasn't their management that had it pulled either, it was someone posing as their management. God knows why whoever did it, did it - or if it was some foreign label they were on being idiotic and throwing their weight around.

As far as the parody law goes, I'm pretty sure the reason the UK doesn't have a parody law is because we don't need one. The US does love to sue

I wouldn't be so sure. It's part of the manager's job to distance the talent from unpopular decisions, and they'd likely know the effects of negative publicity more than the band.
