  • If possible try and find a green cross line laser This would be better in bright light conditions. You can use it as a datum and also give you a straight line for your fixing points at the same time. Hope that is of some help.

  • damn my man knows his lasers! what would you reccomend for running condiut on ceilings in high sun conditions. I dont want to spend a fortune i will only use it 4-5 times a year. But when i need it we run long lentghs 100' feet or so before a 90* turn or somthing to that effect. Ceilings are about 30' and like i said theirs windows from floor to ceiling. Very sunny.

  • Green is great but you need to take more care with H&S i do not think it would be good to have them miss used. You may have eye protection on but others may not.

  • I want one just for some laser fun!! I wonder why it is uncommon for them to use green DPSS lasers? Perhaps the red diode lasers are more stable?

  • The best feature i liked about it was then it was spinning if you placed the target in the beam it automatically stopped and fanned the beam across the target face .

  • Hi alx1711's If i was to buy a new laser level i would definitely go green beam better in bright conditions this out ranges all red lasers i would go for a spinner that you can fan and adjust the angles . I saw a beauty at a tool show in Germany that was the bees knees’ i wish i had bought it at the time . I do not remember the name but if my Dewalt ever packed in i would track it down .

  • which one of the Laser u used gives you 1)longer range 2) set up 90 degree angles 3)setup any angles 4)provide levels

  • You need a wife

  • Buy high quality self leveling. I plan on buying more lasers personally. I have a Johnson 5 beam dot. I want a line now :)

  • Wow! Your house is so straight! Equal corners, equal moldings on all walls, straight floor. ITs so unreal in the United States :)) I like it !

  • Who said that. It's not just user that needs to be protected make sore that you control the laser beem and keep out of eye level at all times.

  • You forgot to put your safety glasses on.

  • I live in the Uk my dealer is Topcon and the straight line laser i use is a PLS 90 and 180, Not Shaw of the true origin of the lasers. “ PLS” Pacific Laser systems

  • I have a 63-8161 laser level which is the straight line level one you are displaying
