Aside from being such a let down to the show. It was a horrible production, the dialog was forced, and separated. The writing was cheesy. You just felt disconnected. It was just not good.

aang and suko were asian, saka and katara were native American in the cartoon but they made the the heros white and the villains (fire nation) indian. so what does that say really Brown people are bad.
