Glad to see Jags recognizing Max's worth to a hockey club.
He hit the nail on the head when he said management made a mistake in not re-signing Talbot. In a year when frickin Ville Leino (?!?!?) is getting 4.5 mill a year for 6 years... not giving Talbot, a veteran that plays hard, finishes his checks, wins face-offs and kills penalties 1.75 a year long term shows how poorly managed the Pens are. Add on the fact that Talbot is clearly well liked by the fans and was clutch in their Cup win...
@jkwan68 The fault on not resigning Max goes to Shero..This is one time where he should have made an exception and signed a role player beyond 2 years..4 yrs is what he wanted and he ended up with 5..I'm happy for the dude..
THE HUMBLE LEGEND ! Im proud to be czech..the pens crowd behavior was a disappointment for me ..and belive him or not, that salute WAS for all of you hatin CU|\|TS who forgot what this legend helped to build in your god forsaken hollow :p 68 !
@hedlik As a Pens fan who grew up watching Jagr dominate the Nhl with AND WITHOUT Lemieux,I have to say I couldnt agree with you more..Jag's did a great deal for the Pens, although he also was very moody at times here. However,he left 10 yrs ago it's time to move on.Blame the Pgh media who were the one's who got everybody in this city's hopes up that he was coming back.
He looks old and tired (btw, as old and tired than me). It's perhaps Jagr's time to retire and wait for the call to Hall of Fame.

I think I saw him first time in 1989 ,when he worn no 15 and playing for Kladno in Zlin ,
he was my idol ,after beating Minnesota and Chicago in the final .
