I love how Jun got her time to be the Boss before the Final Boss.. Now I see why she's the Final Boss on TTT2.

When I played this game as a kid I couldn't understand why Jun replaced Kazuya in Devil's playthrough. I figured Namco just chose a random character, or it was an error. Then when Tekken 3 came out, and I read the storyline. I wonder if Namco planned Tekken 3 already and this was foreshadowing it?

angel is kazuya's guardian angel aka his mother isnt it, thats the only explanation to her arrival and plus i don think anyone with a purple goblin as an alter-ego would have a female as their good side...jin sees jun as his guardian angel so its logic...just to clear that up for people who are lost

All the stages in Tekken 2 really terrified me when I was a kid. The fact that everything was so dark and you couldn't get to a vertical surface unlike the newer games... just that sense of being trapped.

But yeah, this series was definitely part of my childhood until Tekken 6, I couldn't stand that one.

Tekken 6 is the worst of them all just because of Scenario Campaign and fucking Azazel! If the Arcade Mode had ended with Jin it would've been great.

@isaidwe Amen, brother! Why do fighting game developers feel the need to create the cheapest damn bosses? It's not hard to make a boss who is challenging without being able to pull bullcrap every damn time. Bosses like Azazel and Seth just completely ruin the joy rush I get from playing the earlier stages of the arcade mode.

@Hiroutte You unlock Kazauya first by using all the beginning characters. Then you beat the game as one of the sub bosses (e.g. Lee, Armor King). You will have then unlocked Kazuya. Now all you do is beat the Arcade mode with Kazuya. Devil will then be yours.

Yeah, I'm with everyone that Devil should be brought back, but I doubt that's gonna happen. Most likely only as a customization for Kazuya or Devil Jin. :(

Devil Kazuya was a good character what i really dont like about him is hes hard to play with he barely has any moves but i know that if he was ever to return to the series he would have alot of Kazuyas, Devil Jins, and his moves from here, TTT wich will make him just as good as DJ

it will be hard for Namco to do that unfortunately... Its explained in Kazuya's story battle in tekken 4 when kazuya was almost killed at the end of tekken 2 part of the devil gene left kazuya and took shelter in Jin. That is how Jin got that tatoo on his arm... So he would have to somehow get it back from Jin in order for him to turn back into devil completely
