Straw hats are for summer, felt hats are much heavier and warmer so they are great for winter. Also females wearing a mans hat are subject to a mans hat etiquette rules.

@xcskier98 personally I only wear mine in the summer but I am from a very cold area, but I was just in Cali the other day and I saw a girl wearing a Fedora, so it really is your preference and how your climate is!

here in romania I never saw any fedora hats in the malls before this winter

so i guess yes you can wear them in winter , i personally just started wearing fedoras

and i like them so much.. it saves hours, i hate to fix my hair every time i go out specially at the faculty ekh
