@Chuck18100 bit harsh but yea it is pretty stupid. i thought sarita was especially stupid when a few episodes later she said "we outsmarted him." as if it took a genius to lose a game. steve could have just stood there and chit chatted with jeff or david could have decided not to work on the puzzle and go swim in the ocean with the birds and fish while rob finished the puzzle for his teammates. outlasting a player doesn't mean outsmarting if getting him voted out seals your fate.

That's a valid way to get rid of someone. It's been done plenty of times before and will likely be done again.

Zapatera was bound to lose an Immunity Challenge eventually (especially as the challenges in RI started to skew more and more to Rob and Grant's skillsets), and instead they jumped the gun and more or less forfeited the numbers. Should have put up with Russell's shit a few days longer unless they were that scared of one of their own members flipping on them.

Russell played two times and he made it to the end two times, I'm pretty sure he outlasted them all, I am sure he outwitted them all, and I personally think he outplayed them all. The reason Russell made it to FTC in Heroes vs. Villains is because he was so hated. He was basically carried to the end on Parvati's back for an easy win. You make a good point - only one person wins; one person outplays, outwits, and outlasts the rest, but since Russell never won, I don't think it's fair to say he's done any of those.

Parv could have easily convinced Sandra, Rupert and Colby to him out, but she's not stupid enough to bring 2 heroes to the final 5 like Russell almost did. Furthermore, Russell didn't bring Parvati to the end because she was hated; there are numerous occasions where he states that she was his biggest FTC threat. If he wanted a chance at winning, he should have taken Danielle and Jerri.

The only reason he brought Parvati is because he had a crush on her. I doubt that, Sandra and Parvati developed a friendship towards the end; if anything I would be afraid that Jerri would flip out of fear of Parvati. Even then, I don't think she'd be dumb enough to take a hero to the end. There's no way Coach, Danielle, or Sandra were voting for Russell, no matter who he faced in the finals.
