One of the problems with establishing proof of psi is that for someone to experience a psi event, there must be an open channel of consciousness, so to speak, to allow that experience. And since the experience itself can be inexplicable as to its origin or meaning, that further complicates explaining or replicating it. I think brains are "wired" to receive psi experiences or not.

It's ironic that many religious people scoff at the notion of psi, but believe in the power of prayer.
