Straight from the turntable to the MIC input on the back of the computer. The cartridge I use is a high end 1950s specifically for Mono 78s. Actually has a rubber bumper to dampen any up and down movement of the stylus.
@cdbpdx Thank you for your reply! I did not realize that one could make a direct connection from the TT to the MIC input. I thought there would be a signal strength mismatch but your results happily prove me wrong.
