@ifurita81 i know they follow different rules but there are situations where goalies are in a sense giving up the untouchable status by gambling on a loose puck in a race with a forward. Because markstrom was bumped by his own player the first time and he dove, he lost credibility one the other calls. None of what Canada did were penalties in my opinion, and I'd feel the same way if it was Canada's goalie trying to do it.
You are still obligated not too tackle the goalkeeper based on his equipment and risk of getting seriously hurt. Players with some respect even based on unwritten do whatever they can not too collide. The swedish player was tackled into Markstrom on purpose. That is penalty according too the rules. Della on purpose tackled Markstrom too the box ,based on position of skates ,direction and so on. Atleast the referees couldn't close their eyes on that one.

Markstrom is heading in a straight line forward. Della change direction towards Markstrom ,stops skating ,and leans into Markstrom to prevent himself from falling when hitting. I exxagurated with the "untouchable" but the goalkeeper follow diffrent rules then players when it comes too contact. These were basicly all beyond the point of what you can doo against a goalkeeper. @ifurita81 i know they follow different rules but there are situations where goalies are in a sense giving up the untouchable status by gambling on a loose puck in a race with a forward. Because markstrom was bumped by his own player the first time and he dove, he lost credibility one the other calls. None of what Canada did were penalties in my opinion, and I'd feel the same way if it was Canada's goalie trying to do it.

At 1:13 ,Della is doing a left turn having weight on his left feet. Markstrom approached from the left. What happens at 1:16 just before he hits Markstrom? He shifts weight too his right and his Markstrom. Della changes direction ,not Markstrom. Della changes position of weight too hit ,not too avoid. Now if you really had watched the clip frame by frame you would have seen that. Don't give me that crap ,that is just ridiculous. Look at the frames ,look at Dellas feets.

@ifurita81 TSN showed the still frames a few days later, and it was all over the internet, Della Rovere wouldn't have made contact with him if Markstrom hadn't tried to hit him. That was also his 4th dive of the game, and there was a penalty to Della Rovere anyway, I don't see your point. Quit crying.

I'm not crying ,i am looking at the pictures frame by frame. Della would not have made contact with Markstrom if Della hadn't changed direction. Where is Della heading at 1:13? Where is he heading at 1:16? Where is his weight at those times? Is he skating at 1:16? It's just ridiculous too arguee this. It's a tackle by Della. That is why he got a penalty. The pictures with direction and weight confirmes it. Be a man FFS and atleast admit the obvious. You are just beeing sad.
