fuck me - i've dreamed of being able to play this song on the drums like you. guitars are perfect too. you've done well not to ruin one of the bet songs of all time ;)
Great job. My only problem with it is that the drums sound so much more live than the guitars. Guitars could use a little more air or space in the sound, but, hell -- you played everything very well.
If i won the lottery i would buy you. i would get you to play for me day and night. this is orgasmic. Please will you record the hand that rocks the cradle next?
Wow I am not familier withthe original recording of this tune but this sounds more like it came from about 1969-1973 The Progressive Rock age. It sounds like something Traffic or Canned Heat or a number of other bands of that time would have done. Course most reading this are not familier withthat time or those bands so take my words for it.
well clearly you've never listened to the stone roses, come on man 30 years of music evolution gained in the 90s, sounds nothing like canned heat though :/
Congratulations!! You've got the skill of all three of them: Squire's precission, Mani's groove, and, most important of all, Reni's magnificent vibe!!. Excellent job.
I LOVE THE ENDING! I think it's awesome how we have the same taste in music <3! Ugh, I wish i knew you personally!! We could def. have amazing jam sessions :D!
You certainly know which city bangs the tunes out Dan....check out Vini Reilly The King of Delay....You are one gifted dude...as always right on the money..great work man !!
wow i think i agree with pretty much everyone here, this is amazing! i love your smiths covers, your originals and the stone roses. keep up the good work
I love your Smiths stuff, but if I'm being honest this isn't your best work. You can tell, as you say, that you aren't that familiar with the song which shows up in the nuances of the guitar parts on the record. Although the 12-string acoustic section is very good and a lovely sound. Still all good work though.
I'd love to do one, but can't afford all the equipment that Daniel has, nor do I have the experience of putting something like his videos together. I'm quite happy to go round to Daniel's house and do a version just for you, though I doubt he'd let me!
Nice, it's incredibly hard to try and replicate Reni's warm rhythmic style on an electronic kit. And Seinfeld series 9 on the speaker there, apparently Phil Spector used to watch comedy programs to keep his insanity at bay (that's when he wasn't pointing guns at people).
You can spot a guitarist playing bass a mile away, still brilliant though.

You sir, get +100 incredipoints!
(Although I think the acoustic riff at the end sounds better played with the capo at 4th fret with a kind of open B chord thingy)
((but then what do i know?))
