I heard about that too. Certain states are purposely not telling voters that if they mail in an absentee ballot, they only count it if you mail in a copy of your driver's license to match it. yes, but none can put any blame on their parents or others for their poor situation in life, when it comes down to it they made poor personal decisions. There are thousands (if not probably even millions) of Americans today who are very successful and have a healthy family of their own and they have been both verbally and physically abused by their parents...some great personal examples I can think of are my math teacher, my uncles went through rigorous abuse and even my own mom got some of it.

If you back McCain at this point, after Palins disastrous appearances and McCain's old school policies you a racist or a sore loser. You're not voting on merit but fear of being wrong. Check your ego and vote Obama or suffer another terrible 4 years.

McCain's pick was cynical--assuming that American voters would be won over by Palin's narrative vs. any real talent or experience she may or may not have. I guess we are a superficial lot in so many ways, so perhaps McCain's reasoning wasn't too far off the mark. Sad but true.

I heard about that too. Certain states are purposely not telling voters that if they mail in an absentee ballot, they only count it if you mail in a copy of your driver's license to match it. So a lot of voters are mailing in their votes w/out the copy of their id and not getting counted. I mean it could all be BS, but with the way the last election went, I wouldnt doubt it.

they're also purging voters lists. Like in florida in 2000. No one's talking about that either except a few on Progressive radio stations.

If you care enough to back Obama on YouTube, you really need to be out canvassing for Democrats right now. Have you spoken to your neighbors, and church members, and friends on Myspace, and family members about how Democratic plans & Obama's tax cuts will help their family? Have you visited Obama's site to help make a few phone calls to register voters? Are Obama signs in your yard? BOOTS ON THE GROUND WIN ELECTIONS. Grab five friends right now and do something to help. We have very little time.

McCain was a pow 1967-1973. While he was in Vietnam, Carol was crippled in an auto accident in 1969. He came home, had affairs with many women, then married an heiress addict girlfriend, dumping his disfigured wife in 1980.

palin is being prepped for the vp debate like no other. let's remember that an actress can learn to put out a very good performance...she can be taught to act a part...so do we want a vp who had to learn her lines/act the part. remember a crisis does not allow a person to be prepped for a response. The "mistake" probably wasn't an accident, but at least you can see what a hypocrite Noonan is, writing columns which wildly overpraise the incompetent Palin, yet expressing grave doubts about her privately. Hopefully, any credibility Noonan still has is gone now.
