I love the 425. When i was up in Jim Thorpe and saw her in the Lehigh Gorge, she rekindled my interest in railroading. Hope she'll be back up soon.

You know whats weird is, I've sat in that locomotive before, It just took me seeing the cab to finally remember it!

Somewhere out there 425's original 5-chime step top whistle exists. The late Richard S. Carter once owned it, but he sold it. Would love to at least borrow it for a trip or two, but I have no idea who currently owns it.

ive never rode on the LGSRR but i road the fisrt Tunkhannok to Jim Thorpe in 2008 and i really wana ride again,im thinking about ridding on one of the fall steam division trips ,has anyone ever rode that train?if so is it good?
