hey im kinda new to this...but for the "removing drivers" I cant find SCSI and RAID controllers..ive looked under the device manger section but its not there..there is IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers tab but other than that i cant find it. if you could help that would be awesome..thanks:)

hey i dont have the SCSI and raid controllers but i have IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers... and my sata's name is ICH9M-E/M SATA AHCI CONTROLLER... need help if that one would work..... Would it work if i use sata To ESATA because my laptop has an ESATA

OMG if you cant follow this tutorial i seriously recommend you pay to have your drive flashed because this is the best tutorial out there the rest just plain suck nice tut

i just recently bought an xbox 360 arcade with 256 memory built in. about 2 months ago.. so i am guessing it has the 2009 version LITEON DRIVE.

i am interested in flashing my drive. I have a nforce xfx 680i sli motherboard. what tools do i need. all i want to do is just flash it, i dont want to change the drive just flashing. why do i need the PROBE KIT FOR or the XECUTER stuff. Plz Helpp. cant i just flash the drive by using a sata cable.. HELPPP

You need the xecuter and the probe to get the KEY from the liteon drive you dont nessesarily havet o buy it you can make one yourself with a paperclip :D

Maybe somewhat of a noobie question but if i have a seperate hitachi drive would i be able to hook that up to my xbox that has a LiteOn and flash the hitachi instead of the LiteOn? Also please respond only if you know for sure, because i don't want to f*** up my drive. Thanks

FUCK! I thought I had BenQ drive and I was so happy I was about to flash it... then it doesn't work... I search and search why, and come to find out it's a damn Lite-On drive! Way harder to flash?!?!?! Gosh now I need to get a connectivity kit too! I'm really frustrated now... >=(

I really hope mine is Benq. Lite on and Benq both look the same. You have open the face plate and check the wires

White = benq

Yellow = lite on

Is this completely safe from bans unless you play games before release, because i've heard two sides. One person I know has had to buy 4 new xboxs because he gets banned after updates and another has had his flashed for a couple of years with no problems..... i have a question, if i buy a benq and flash it will it work on my xbox 360 which had a lite on, since flashing means changing the firmware or will the xbox not detect it?
