At my first gig we had an hour before our set and all i did was repeat the warm ups and picking to a metronome, I was hella nervous but it really made a huge difference.

I'd recommend learning this whole dvd and working on it to a metronome, it dosen't sound too pretty but your chops will become a lot better. just look at tosin abasi and Matt heaffy, they both swear by this DVD and a metronome.

Well, nice video, and I love your teaching style.

Not my bag, but I certainly don't disparage it or discourage people who want to do that. To me, it just seems (please do NOT take this personally) somewhat primitive in the context of melodic guitarists/ classical music. Too many riffs, not enough music.

It's possible to make your guitar sound like a machine; however, not necessarily desirable IMO.
