Oh My Gosh! I was just thinking the other day how there are so many ballads Madonna has recorded and never performed on her tours! Really interesting to discover that this was actually part of one. I think she did a good job vocally. It seemed to drag after a couple of minutes, but that might be because it was hard to tell what was going on. Thanks for sharing!
she only did You'll See for about 4 select cities or so on her North American run of the Drowned World tour. unfortunately, she did Gone for the rest of the shows, which is a rather boring song.

This is from the Drowned World Tour but she only sang it at some venues. The rest of the time she sang "Gone". I was fortunate enough to see her perform this from the front row and look into her eyes. It was an unforgetable moment in my life!

July 26th, 2001 was the first time I saw Madonna in concert, that was MSG in New York. She performed 'You'll See' instead of 'Gone', it was 100% live, and indeed she missed a note. It's unfortunate she switched back to 'Gone' for the Michigan HBO / DVD show.
Thanks for this clip! Brought back memories!

Makes u feel an incredible strength and self-love; that's so emotional. And here she sings with so much feeling, I almost cried when heard it, and I almost cry every time I hear this song.

She decided she wanted to quit singing "Youll see" coz she had so much trouble remembering the lyrics all the time. Thats why she sings Ray Of Light. Plus she loves this song although all the fans are sick of it

lol - you clearly don't know what you're talking about menelaus. she replaced "gone" with "you'll see" for only a few shows more than half way through the tour. i'm not even sure why you're even mentioning "ray of light" since that was on the playlist from the opening night to the closing night.

This is totally live. It's obvious when she's miming, but she's never mimed a ballad on tour. I happen to know this is live, as there is a HQ MP3 of it taken from Atlanta were she misses her cue ( probably due to forgetting the words or some sort of distraction ).

Oh My Gosh! I was just thinking the other day how there are so many ballads Madonna has recorded and never performed on her tours! Really interesting to discover that this was actually part of one. I think she did a good job vocally. It seemed to drag after a couple of minutes, but that might be because it was hard to tell what was going on. Thanks for sharing!

she only did You'll See for about 4 select cities or so on her North American run of the Drowned World tour. unfortunately, she did Gone for the rest of the shows, which is a rather boring song.

and too bad she didnt perform this in the Palace of Auburn Hills in Detroit, Michigan (or auburn hills) cuz thats where the DVD was recorded, so we could have seen youll see instead of gone. i mean gone is a good song, but youll see is x99999999999999 better.

This is from the Drowned World Tour but she only sang it at some venues. The rest of the time she sang "Gone". I was fortunate enough to see her perform this from the front row and look into her eyes. It was an unforgetable moment in my life!
