New boss? Hardly. The Raptor is one of RuneScape's "Hero's". The old lady from the Blood Pact in Lumbridge is another hero. So is Sir Owen and the other guy and girl he sometimes travels into Daemonheim with. You, the character, play as the final "Hero". The Raptor is just a hardass looking hero who travels around RS, killing chaos dwarves on the battlefield, wandering around doing tasks, found in slayer dungeons, etc..

guys i just did the path of glourphie quest and at the end the gnome had a vision that 8 people would travel north and kill the mahjarrat, only two would return and of the two one would be a warrior and the other a slayer? idk but i think is a spoiler for the new quest.

The Raptor has many spawn points around RS. He has a lot of interesting dialogue.

Also, they all meet up on the second floor of the Legend's Guild, and if you have interest in lore and other dialogue, check it out. They talk about a lot of interesting things. :)

the jagex said they'll be releasing a new slayer dungeon which you need 95+ slayer for, and it will have lots of new and powerful slayer monsters, maybe that raptor guy will be a new slayer master of the dungeon and you'll need like 95 slayer+ and like 135 combat, that would be sick! :p
