I was thinking of making this as my first all grain batch. I was wondering how much water did you use for the mash and at what temperature was it done at.
Thanks for the idea for using roasted pumpkin seeds with the mash. I wrestled with that theory until you blazed that trail. Now I'll do it...that is going to add a whole new dimension to the flavor!
Could cut up cooked pumpkin work instead of puree.

@ENOCK360 Yes. Just bake it in the oven for a bit to carmelize.

@mlmartin12480 I believe Steve used 1.5 quarts/pound at around 152F.
