I got a BA XR6 and the gearbox sounds like a dogbox ,well not that bad but it dont sound good in 2nd and 3rd. The clutch is shit the box is shit the diff is shit ,everything on the fucking thing is just poorly made besides the engine. Warped rotors and i dont brake hard i sorta feal they went cheep on the BA and i want my old ED back. Fucking knew i would regret selling that thing but no everyones like "You got a BA you dont need it blah blah blah" (MRS). My 5spd ED was mint and reliable :(

In the XR6-T & G6E-T the PCM shuts down 3 cylinders at full throttle gear change. This effectively halfs the amount of the mass torque that is required to go threw the gearbox at gearchange.

pretty sure the engine control module retards timing when the gear change occurs. soarers and bmw's all do it aswell

If you block the BOV, and get it tuned.... It can be tuned to not flutter and only make the burble sound... Makes the car shifts wayyyyy faster... Cant wait :D
