@silma85 I would not fly a mach with CCC rigs and Faction guns .. but there is is no way a drake(!) is faster finished with a mission then a Machariel. The killspeed with the Mach is just insane, also the flying speed is better so you are faster at the next mission gate. Yes, the drake is les skill intensive and cheaper. I would not recommend a beginner to fly a mach, but if you have the skills i dont see the point in choosing a drake over a mach for missionrunning.

And didn't you notice the bonuses to explosion velocity and target painters that a Golem has, or the fact that it can easily put out more DPS than a Mach, and that it can also salvage as it goes? I've seen Golems burn through missions very bloody fast; unless with that Mach you can take out at least 16 mil worth of ships completly solo in a Hisec L4 mission, your argument is void

OK i admit he uses a boosting Tengu alt (the ship called WARRIOR on his scanner is the Tengu alt) but i do beleive it is entirely possible to solo in a Mach. It all depends on how smart the pilot is and how well he can use the speed to his advantage.

Oh really. My friend and I were missioning. Before he could warp his shields were broken, then his armor, then his hull. He was very close to warping, that would have given him time. On T3 ships, meh, don't put a damage control on those. If you get a T3's tank broken in a mission, you fail.
@Lolwut67 If your friend is somehow stupid enough to die in a mission without a damage control he's also stupid enough to die with a damage control. It is not needed, if it is, "you fail."
As for T3's, I was referring to PvP. On armour tanked T3's specifically, you get more EHP with an EANM over DCU.
fine i guess, but really, put a dmg control on it instead of the 4th gyro, the 4th gyro dont give to well becouse of stacking penalty, and besides, in case you fuck up, witch everyone does at some point. a dmg control i VERY handy ;P

Mach can put out 1k DPS and track frigs if you fitt it right.
Golems use missiles and will allways be slower then a turret boat at killing smaller ships in any mission.
Golem cant run missions as fast as a mach, trust me i tried. Not saying the Golem is bad, just that the mach is better.
