  • This song screams, 'working class England'. The visuals are completely incongruous.

  • Don't much care for Morrissey, but this version of this song kills.

The Black / White visuals for this are perfect.

WhoEver did this -you have a lot of talent.

  • Mozza !!!

  • There's an official video for this cover,it's Morrissey in front of a brick wall & someone who looks like Johnny Marr playing guitar alongside him,I could be wrong tho.

  • it's amazing how people can completely miss the point of songs! this is like making a video for norwegian wood and putting in clips from people skiing in norway

  • even morrissey thought this was a bad cover. he changed up the pace on the live version to make it sound more like the original.

  • @talktal Not sure about that. I've never read that anywhere. Besides, during that time they sped up a lot of the tracks live. I don't think it was because he thought it was a bad cover.

  • Great song, and great video. Moz, please, be nice, watch it and make it the official video, it deserves it.

  • pretty damn tasteful video, kudos.

  • The song isn't about the entertainment industry at all, but nice video anyway.

  • I watched Mo do this on Stickey Wickets' Pop Tops. He was very professional and clean.

  • The visuals don't fit the song. It needs to be grainy, rain-soaked images of the mill towns of Northern England.

    Thanks for uploading.

  • nice editing for this favorite song of mind!!!cheers beers!

  • I like your video! Still, I think Morissey's cover is over enunciated and too overtly melancholic. The Jam's original was precisely so biting because it evidenced frustration rather than morose resignation.

Morissey took a song about social and existential frustration and made it into what seems like yet another screed on, well, entertainment as a business and culture. Weaksauce.

  • This cover is one of few that is actually worthwhile. Both versions are absolutely excellent. Great video here too

  • Niiiiiice! Really great video!

  • really cool - i love this.

it was the perfect way to enjoy the song and see the visuals you put together.

  • Great job! Thank you! :)

  • The Jam and The Smiths. Everything else is wallpaper.

  • bare gay

  • I loveeee<3

  • wow this is horrible

  • I wouldn't have thought in a million years Morrissey would play this. Brilliant cover.

  • Well done!! Thanks!

  • what a pile of shite...leave it to weller to do it justice

  • @finbarfudge bullshit

  • probs better than anything morrisey has writ

  • @gene101303 bullshit

  • Well done to The Jam for the lyrics, and well done to Morrissey for making me hear them.

    Great stuff!

  • Where is this found? On a single?

  • @DeLoused777

    Yes this is on single

  • i love the jam and morrissey this is a great cover thanks for posting this

  • Just when I thought that Morrissey couldn't possibly get any more awesome...

  • Beautiful Version. Well done moz!

  • Great Video mate, actually looks official. Well done.

  • I like the slow, dreamy quality of this cover, and weller's lyrics suite morrissey just right.

  • love the original ,but this version is better in my opinion..

  • That's Entertainment is the song. Not entertaining. Good upload though - one of my favorite songs ever recorded and a fabulous cover.

  • he mixes it all up too. i think he gets every sentance wrong lol on purpose though obviously

  • I adore the original Jam version but my god, Moz really does a good job with this

  • Excellent cover...recently covered it after being inspired by Mozza :-) It would really make my day if some of you guys checked it out :-D

  • I know Morrisey covered this song but Did the Jam first sing this or did the Jam cover it as well? Who else has covered this song. It's one of my favorite songs as a teen from the early 80s.

  • Yeah mate, The Jam's is the original, Weller wrote it.

  • Very cool then. Morrissey is a good performer even though a lot of the young people today make fun of him. But Even he was far greater then the emo corporate bands of today.

  • One of the best cover's I've heard.

  • Amazing, simply amazing.

  • You have the biggest dick ever.

  • @dsantibanez33 you DO have the biggest dick ever..... it's on the top of your neck.

  • fuckin brilliant cover voice of a generation

  • gorgeous clip,

    gorgeous version...love ya muzza!

    must see jam now...adios ;)

  • This is quite a good cover.... Im not the biggest morrisery fan but i liek some of his stuff. Im not to keen on the lyrical changes though.

  • and u r a looser

  • morrisey can write lyrics better than this song and so can weller like they both have in other tracks, theyre both good theyve just got different styles. expand your mind dick wad and then you might make some friends that like your opinion instead of being embarrassed by your gay blurts

  • @WellersBitch spelling write wrong is funny

  • I love it! Fookin excellent!

  • Awesome Video!!!

makes miss of the days of hanging out at Tower Records in Hollywood

    Thanks for the Video

  • thanks

  • <33 the vid you posted <33...this is such an amazing cover...both are brilliant, beautiful artists (the jam and morrissey)
