Yeah I miss my baby girl Sasha ( boston terrier/ blue healer mix ), although she is not passed away, she was left with my now ex-fiance, and I miss Sasha more than my ex. Great family member and she just adored me,. She would always come into the bedroom and nudge me with her nose as I was sitting in my desk chair, just so I could pet her. I have never cried over a pet except for her. Wish I could see her gain for just a day and love all over her.

Thanks for posting this. I love the lyrics and chords in this song and have been chasing the tabs for ages. This song was on the B-sides album, Afterglow. The quality of songs on it is amazing, and 'Lester' is the best song about a dog ever!

This song is really sweet - I think you have to be a dog owner to really appreciate its sentiment. It says on the video that it's not been released but it has - it's on "Afterglow" a collection of Crowded House song that Neil compiled a few years after the split. It's a really good album and has the most beautiful version of "Private Universe" on it and all the other tracks are previously unreleased. Well worth having if you're a Crowdie fan.
